Love Unfailing

Happily ever after, meant to be,
Love at first encounter, and a magical kiss,
True and does not flatter, that's clear to see,
Love that never falter, an evergreen tree.

Captures you in style, puts you in this jail,
Place sparkles up for a while, the romance prevail,
Written in stars and tile, such seen in fairytale,
Souls bound mile to mile, with love so deep not pale.

Three years without rain, a great love can conquer,
In darkness and pain, it burns bright and stronger,
The passion remain, you fall in much harder,
A great love's domain, no weapon can sever.

Love sweeter than wine, as written in books,
The rest falls in line, and all hearts renew,
It's almost divine, regardless the looks,
You don't need a sign, it's mighty and true.

Epitome

That evening
When there was just you and i
You stared into my eyes
And I got lost in yours

You sat on the chair
That i had put in front of me
Hoping you'd come to my rescue
A savior from my loneliness
And to my gladness you did.

I don't know
If it was the dark brown colour
That shone with the sunset
Or just the deep intensity
With which your glance came

You had looked at me before
On several occasions
Like silent lovers we stared
Stared into each other's eyes
But this was not the same
This was something else entirely.

You were pulling me
Ruining every single belief i had
You were never the one
Or so i thought
Then your eyes
With a sparkle and a shade of brown
Pierced into my heart
And it betrayed me
Letting me fall so blindly for you

It was never that dark brown color
I had seen lots of those
Jokes on this desperate heart
That was then in need
In need of some love

I wish i knew how
But that evening
When there was just you and I
I looked into your eyes
And i remain lost in them.
