The Lion of Judah

In Gilead he's the balm
That makes any sickness calm;
In Isreal he's the consolation
That restores all desolation.

In Judah he's the Lion
That keeps watch over Zion;
In Galilee he's the miracle founder
That makes Jerusalem wonder.

On earth he's the spring of salvation
That satisfies spiritual starvation.
He's the source of light
That gives all sight.

To me, he's the owner of my soul
That makes me whole;
He's my unfailing life giver
That floods my life with joy as river.

With Flood of Tears

With flood of tears I pass this message
About our today's message;
They've made their lives a big mess,
Neglecting their future on center stage.

They showcase immorality no matter the age,
To sex, rape, hard drugs they say yes.
Daily display of evil is sure beyond guess;
With effort they scout for those to encourage.

They receive full promotion from the press;
Their best fashion is indecent dress.
Good manners in deleted from their page
And their popular lifestyle is wild rage.

More of the victim is the teenage;
Social network has given their evil wide coverage,
Oh, how our investment is becoming a wastage,
May our tomorrow's hope not be a mirage.

Regard for elders is made so less,
Their evil flows without gauge;
They enclose their consciences in satanic hedge,
While putting the world into great stress.

If they refuse change, keeping their act fresh
And esteeming the works of their flesh,
God will not fail to give them their wage,
While Satan will put them in hell as in a cage.

Joe Made a Mark

Joe made a big mark
He painted his albino brother black
When mother found him guilty
Joe said: "black is beauty."

Please Do It Again

"Ucle," Joe said: "did you feel no pain
Falling from that mango tree?
Would you do it, please, again,
'Cos my brother here didn't see."

Bringing To Order

And if you stand in doubt
Who brought this rhyme about
My name is Isaac James Odah
I remain in good order.

Though my rhyme be regged
Tattered, rusty and jagged;
If you take heed
It'll be a good lead.

For as far as I can see,
It is wrong with each degree
When many puff with pride;
And refuse morality on their side.

With high and hunt adventure,
They become evil structure;
Just for silver and gold
Their integrity is sold.

See all good in them rotten,
And virture is also forgotten;
The smallest temptation they'll succumb,
Pretending to be deaf and dumb.

Thus, I Isaac James Odah,
Intending to bring to order
What I consider great suicide
Eating many inside.

Trying to rescue them from evil corners,
Soon they are seen as goners.
Sound to them words of warning
You'll encounter their anger burning.

Helping to break the yoke,
They'll regard it as a joke;
Knowing life got no dublicate,
But created to be delicate.

Life must be handle with care,
With creator's reverential fear;
Then hope'll flow like stream,
Appearing like good dream.

The grandson of Odah
Has still got another,
This must be revealed,
I can't have it concealed.

Not minding who's offended
Nor they that are defended.
Aiming to bring to light,
And persuading to do right.

This is my enviable mission
Never out of commission.
These words of mine is life,
A companion as a wife.

Whatsoever you take it to be,
It'll sting wrong heart as bee
Piecing like a sharp sword,
Leading as undefeated lord.

Taking my words on trust
Can prevent human rust;
The truth therein has no truncation,
To you everywhere I make my dedication.

Heal Our Land

God of heaven and earth, behold our great nation,
Deliver us from frequent abomination;
Moral living is suffering great deviation.
     And surely we need your forgiveness
Heal our Land.

Only few have your fear, O Lord,
Your simplest commandment many can't afford
While religion has become only a social ford.
     And surely we need your forgiveness
Heal our Land.

Corruption becomes the theme of the day,
Many like to acquire, but hate to pay;
Nobody likes the change no matter the say.
     And surely we need your forgiveness
Heal our Land.

The beauty of plain truth is concealed
And bitterness of deceit is revealed;
Integrity is silent and sealed.
     And surely we need your forgiveness
Heal our Land.

Only few are of a reason school
That there best produce a fool;
The intellectual is turned cool.
     And surely we need your forgiveness
Heal our Land.

Exploitation wears expensive coat
Ready to cut his brothers throat
And turn his neighbour to a goat.
     And surely we need your forgiveness
Heal our Land.

Our landlords in expectations great
Do set their houses in such heat,
For the least rent the poor can't beat.
     And surely we need your forgiveness
Heal our Land.

Our leaders in games of false propaganda
Thus produce counterfeit agenda;
The greatest leader is the best pretender.
     And surely we need your forgiveness
Heal our Land.

Evil heaps in every place,
Hatred wears a friendly face;
A man will seek his friends disgrace.
     And surely we need your forgiveness
Heal our Land.

How easily we're carried away in lust
And forgetting that death is a must,
When it's certain we'll end up as dust.
     And surely we need your forgiveness
Heal our Land.

When Words Pinch a Faction

Joe a smart preacher
Lectures his teacher;
"Most impressive was the reaction,"
Joe said "when words pinch a faction."

So Dear To Me

You're to me so dear,
Your presence creates no fear;
You only I can bear
For I owe you special care.

I wish you are always near,
My life will never tear;
You only my heart can hear,
For you are better than any pear.

With you I'll go anywhere
Never leaving you at the rear;
With you I can increase my gear
Maintaining my track and not veer.

My love for you can never wear
But will increase every year;
Only you can have me to share,
For you're ever to me so dear.

The Man of Only Tomorrow

He was going to be greatest tomorrow
None else can beat his greatness tomorrow
Each day he postpone his duty for tomorrow
An excellent intention he had for tomorrow
With a stern promise to do all tomorrow

He slept and dremt most of tomorrow
So he made declaration always of his tomorrow
Everywhere heard his trumpet of tomorrow
The world viewed the banner of his tomorrow
All around knew everything about his tomorrow

He gathered all in celebration of his tomorrow
They stood eminent ovation for his tomorrow
All but none cheared him up for his tomorrow
People danced to the music of his tomorrow
They ate, drank and left waiting for tomorrow

The greatest man ever could be him tomorrow
The world could have celebrated him had he ever seen tomorrow
But the truth is he died and vanished when approaching tomorrow
And all that was left when living was over before tomorrow
Was the mountains of things he intended to do tomorrow
