Tales of Helsinki and Skateboarding

It smells a little like Christmas
Cold and kind of like peaches-don't make fun of that
And it's not even September
And this time I swear if you jump off that
I'm not going to the hospital
My blood stained shirt from the show
Still smells of clove cigarettes
How can you still look so good?
Never Summer.
There's something wrong with us-- really.
Yeah, cause you'll want that there in fifteen years.
You are such an-
You got the idea four cliche's ago
Hi, hello. Yes. Thank you. Come on in.
Our subliminal messages will begin in 2.5 seconds.
You like the way you make me feel like a child.
And You're not allowed to talk anymore.
A bit chilly outside--okay, blizzard.
Don't go out in that. Doubt the car will make it back.
Taste of deep red wine. Reminds me of the word Cabaret.
Funny shows, it's like they won't let you go
Is everything broken?
Lock my bedroom door.
We're trying to have a conversation...okay, sure.
God I love the life you've made
Out there on a ramp
With everyone watching, my clothes fit better than ever
Like the hat, give him that back
One in the same
Nothing in common, no more useless input
Is that real? Really, is it?
We're going out tonight. I want you to go.
Especially when I see you 3 times a month.
How many ideas can you steal? Make it part of your own appeal.
I don't know how mnay more times I can laugh at that one
So I'll set on the snow
Think of where we are
And what you all did to my car...
This was the best time wer ever had
Then I'll go inside
Try to light our fireplace. Failure.
Be careful. You can stay with me. We'll stay inside.
It's your bedroom, but you still knock on the door before you come in
So glad I live here
If only everything was this easy for everyone as it is for them
This is the part I always wanted to play
Is this what you always want me for?
I love your face and hands
And the way you just don't care
So naive. That turns you on, I know enough to know that.
Have I really lost that much weight?
Things are so great it makes me upset.
Be my serious side and I'll be your soul
Are they still out there?
Better go check to make sure they're alive.
You love me.
And I love this.

The Answers Still No

Let the waitress put the chair up.
And th glasses tha tyou broke.
To keep us in the moment.
Tomorrow we'll smell like smoke.
You can come around if you really want.
When your hair looks new agin.
And you're the one you love again.
I've got a bad feeling about this.
Back a thome on his white bed.
Forget how hard it's been to you.
Let your face go to your head.
His blue bandana over his hair looks stupid, but I...
Yeah, it's still cool.
And I know you're the better Jedi.
Protect our secret once more. With feeling.
You said the handcuffs left you sore.
But you never got around to leaving.
It occurrs to me that all my favorite stories have
Really great happy endings.
Why cuts aren't healing.
We liked this game; Muddy handprints on my jeans.
I was the one standing outside in the pouring rain--glad that you mentioned it.
Where did you put last summer? This will never be the same.
Somedays I'm just a mess. ANd I can't pick up th ephone
Can't get dressed alone.
Did you cut his hair like that?
When did you stop being so entertaining?
I still don't know the color of your ryes even though you stare.
I'm over it now.
And believe me guys, I've checked-
There's nothing under there.

Sweet Pea

Please hold my hand right now
Help me
I'm scared, please show me how
To fight this
I'll wait for you to understand
And I'm being as patient as I can
If you come back sweet pea
I'll know just what to say
I promise I won't turn away
Every night wanting to feel your body heat
On your bed through the sheet
I've thought of every pretty little thing to whisper in your ear
Recalling the way I felt when you first touched me there
I pray we'll apprecaite each other more
By making it through
Will you be the way that I remember you?
Holding you to my chest
My one desire is to please you
You know you're not like the rest
After I smile I have to cry
Becasue you're not there to see me look beautiful
When I laugh I want your eyes upon my face
And I want your hand where my hands trace
We'd both be happy then
Loving every breath of you
Can't believe I let you slip away
Was there anything I could say?
I think I'm falling apart
You're what I think of when I fall asleep
And wake up
Did you think of the rest of our lives too?
Like you said we'd love each other after one year
I'll kiss you the way you want
We'll have a big yellow house
I'll be whatever you need
In that picture perfect place
If you come back sweet pea
I'll know what to say
I promise I won't turn away
Alone in a summer night
I want to know you again
You make me think everything I do is right

Red

I haven't slept the past two days. But that's okay.
I like to cry. You know I don't like daylight anyway.
Our talk about the weather and the schoolday show that we care.
Like a sound I didn't notice.
Until it stopped and left me there.
All the cars in parking lots of bars I know. Nice shoes on the floor.
Remind me of you a month ago.
I see your truck still parked outside the front door.
It's all on the table.
We could be perfect-But I's 1 AM: Just me awake. I'm writing in bed.
I was thinking. And if you were a color baby you'd be RED.
Firecrackers on the sidewalk
Passion.Power.Smoke.Fire.
Red is the shadow that bleeds from the sun.
And the dark is probably jealous of you.
Becasue even on Sunday, Red is never Blue.
Always/Faster/Forever/After
I haven't slept the past four days. But thats okay. I hope you never lie.
Counting on our future, you know how I felt anyway.
Nervous and anxious. It really counts htis time.
Let our hatred and affection march in a straight line.
It'll all be fine right?-But it's 3 AM: Just me awake. Still Writing in bed.
And even though it's easy, I love you when you're RED.
Later on, cold in night, when everyone's gone.
When RED is tired and needing rest.
Rest Assured I saved you the best.
Youy're the only one I've ever seen.
When we kiss you know what I mean.
If we get home and fires no longer burn.
What will you do?
As your RED fades away, and you think that happened so fast.
I'll stay. Take your time.
i'll love you after your RED is all washed away.
