Autumn

Her majestic wind changes the season
Bringing forth warmth and a bit of chills
The colours of her myelinated beauty display through nature
Red, brown, caramel, purple
While bringing forth harvest to those who cherish her offerings
She's moody, but has great intentions
If you trick her, she won't treat you good
Her skies can be gray, but she has happiness
Her forecast can be teary with rain clouds
But there's always a day of Thanksgiving

Chocolate Tears

Many days and moons it's been a bowl of tears
Experienced a life of turmoil, bittersweet, and pain over the years
Roaming the subway train, cruising and thinking about life
Traveled my own route, left the boulevard to escape strife
Then that's where I stumbled upon you
Here you were, just staring at me out of the blue
When you looked at me with a smile, I just stumbled at your hair
You kept smiling, looking as if you didn't care
All I saw was pure beauty like never before
It was like chocolate. It was rich, smooth, and creamy. I couldn't ask for more
I regret ever fragmenting your heart
Now realizing an unseen connection, I'm afraid I ripped it apart
I didn't know you, but you knew me. You first felt my pain
I last felt your heart and now I'm walking in the rain
Filled with sadness, I made you cry
I asked for your name, but you said "bye".
Then I looked down on myself thinking how will I live
You may leave feeling bitter, but I ask you to forgive
As I begin to embark on my quest, I am prepared for the cheers
While wondering on my straight narrow path, seeing you I see chocolate tears.
