Asteria and Theia

Asteria and Theia

(Asteria is the goddess of the night and stars and Theia is the titan sun goddess)

“I embody the darkness of the celestial sphere and the innumerable stars that dot my skies; she is the burning sun and I the dark abyss of evening. I spend my days chasing her radiance from abreast. For centuries I have cherished her yet I am never able to reach out and caress her luminous astral presence; her bright glow sustains all mortal beings- mercy and grace seep from her vivid spirit. Though I long for her to bring light to my darkness I know she would only destroy me; a forbidden love affair that will leave my soul scalded and singed- but still I follow her light hoping one day she will turn and anoint me with her tender graze - for that I would give my life.”

“Her anger left marks on my skin; beauty transformed to fury and rage- my heavenly angel became an angel of death. With each word she broke the fibers of my being; she plunged her hand into my chest and commandeered my bleeding heart. Yet with every squeeze of my heart she breathed new life into me; like a god she commanded the my universe to shift its landscape- the collision galaxies rattled my spirit with toxically addicting love; she was a dagger in my chest, a black hole in the infinite space of my soul. If I expunged her hand from my chest surely my heart would be stolen away. And it was- I forced her out of me- her carcinogenic love left me hollow and aching; now I stand in this nothingness calling her name, hoping and praying that she plunges her hand in my empty chest and returns my heart- I wish on a thousand souls that she grants me her toxic love afresh.”

Siren Song

Siren Song

“My aching bones protruding desire;
My mind overtaken by time immemorial.
A wasteland of dissociation, barren yet flourishing
With fruitful anamnesis of a necromantic epoch;
Oh Poseidon- how I long for home.
To endure the Fateful death song that spills from these lips,
Our sweet entanglement transforms to unity;
Sweet Liberation! My deliverance is in your aqueous grasp!
Dulcis Mortem- liberare eos de vincula vitae.”

“The precise moment a climactic moan fell off her lips she metamorphosed. She tasted the sweetness of the forbidden fruit; my angel- so pure and faultless- was bonded to the beauty of her sapphic transgressions. Though marked by iniquity, her divinity flourished; perhaps the abomination she feared the most was no sin at all.”
