Pain of Hunger

I quickened my pace into life,
Gazing at the sun as it burns through
and the moon as it glows.

Worried as some of my terror
resulted from my errors.
Walked through melancholy with
drops of tears.

Abdomen murmuring and wont stop
torturing, beckoning the worms to feed.
Dizziness overclouded, so the door gets
closer.

Feel my head spinning, but still.
Lips dried like the desert.
Body, pale like a dead bird.

Mischievous thoughts crawled my medulla.
Take by force whats not yours.
Cried for night fall, comes another day.
Hoped to be saved by the day each day
I fell asleep as I fight deceit.

My God Mother

Overwhelmed
as mama offers a stare
at me.
Behind sleepy eyes;
I watched.

You would lay on the floor,
despite my warnings
You naughty child.

You cant stop snoring
like your father
she whispered
as she watched over
me like an angel
as I lied on the tiled floor.

You obviously
Took both our characters
my priceless jewel.
I opened my eyes
As I said to her;
There is no me without you
MAMA.

Those words caressed her skin
like the freshness of the breeze
after rainfall that she smiled
so softly.

I fell asleep peacefully
filled with stories
my mother told me,
knowing there is someone
guarding me like a god.

Into the Darkness

He held his detached face in his hand as he trepid into the darkness of an
ungodly aura fermented from the
evil within him.

Masked with so much anger and pain
through his faceless face as it mirrored
into his face like the reflection
of his own blackish image.

Yet behind shut eyes he roared like a lion
sending signals to his comrades as
an invitation to the dance into the forest
of the pitch-dark night.

Fist clanged tightly and mysteriously
as he was trapped in his own wrath
and never to see the light of the day
for it was a dead end.

Now alone, his monstrous black hair
poured out in anger;
don’t drag me into my own hell.

Regret

REGRET

As I walked through my memories,
I saw the moon and the sun as they threw
pity at me as if to say,
I warned you!

Tears! Tears!
Those trickles of tears as they
ran down my face, they asked
for help.

Please stop! It hurts so much,
it was as if my heart was being daggered.
Lots and lots of pain enriched
my soul.

Tick Tock! says the clock as it ticked
into my future..please take me
back to inception I pleaded.

Perhaps I can right my wrongs
On the boat of yesterday.

Tick tock! Says the clock
without response as it kept
ticking into
my future..

Left without options I sailed on the
boat with lessons and regrets into
my future.

Live and Let Live

I breathe with ease
We breathe with ease

Live And Let Live!

I speak for free
We speak for free

Live And Let Live!

We merry around our berries
And our bellies we filled with goodies

Live And Let Live!

As we wine and dine in sands of time
We grace each day and say amen

Live And Let Live!

The slavery times are done in dusts
Be out and free like twinkle in the stars.

Live And Let Live!

You Are

You are still the one,
I thought you didn't exist,
I thought it was an illusion

Until I met you....
Wow! Who is that, was my thought,
Puzzled for a while I was.

Exchanging our common difference ,
I hoped to get an addition.
So it did happen.

Felt my heartbeat, race faster as I heard
Your voice.
I couldn't, because I couldn't control it.

It was so deep, I bled
My feelings? It was that deep!!!
Like a farmer who can't do without
His cutlass.
Like a mother who can't do without
Her child.
Like the sun who can't do without
The moon.

Our love is nameless
Our love, classless
Our love, unconditional
Our love, priceless
Our love thriving in the face of hardness.

In your love my faith grew stronger
In your love I found a partner
In your love I fear nothing
In your embrace I find solace
In your presence I find comfort.
In your love I bid loneliness goodbye
In your love I want to be bound.

I would look at you and wonder like the stars.
Countless times, at logger heads we became,
Make it easier for me, I plead.
But with more love to settle.
Let bygones be.

It hurts at times, because its true love.

But you are still the one.
As a pair we sail....
Ours is the definition of love.

The Cupid Feelings - Topic A

I think I need surgery,
Can I take out my heart?
Cupid is at it again,

The diaper wearing brat.
Love is bitter-sweet,
Why can’t I just have candy sweets?
Maybe Man wasn't created to be alone
God’s plan perhaps.

Drowning in my schizophrenic abyss,
I wonder if I would see bliss.
Maybe it’s me being randy,
Why can’t I have candy?
Despite things being rowdy.

Born without mating instincts,
My congenital disease,
Emotionally indistinct
 In high degrees.

Juke on repeat,
The feelings play each time,
I don’t send text thinking
 she would reply,
I am wasting emotions,
It's getting pointless,
My heart is turning sour,
And my feelings, voiceless.

Charity

CHARITY

Oh! Charity
An entity to behold
I glare with compassion
My virtue of generosity.

Chaste is my goodwill.
Woe! be tide those squanders
Oh! The tears of the orphans!
Why shy away from them?

Could you not wear the same shoe someday?
As people suffer, I am sickened
As the beggars beg,
Who am I to stop my tears?

As the children Starve
My heart aches.
Where is thy compassion you men of little faith?
In totality

Comfort is what I bring
My naked kindness is what I offer
The flow of poverty I would obstruct
My advantage you can take,
Oh you disadvantaged one;

Nature would testify
I am your helping hand
Part of Gods light
Dry Your Tears

For I am CHARITY
And I am not FOR SALE.

Darkness

A world of the unknown and unseen
A perfect environment for the nocturnes
An invitation of wonderment filled with
Immense terror
An abode for the stars
The devils workshop
The dreary of a baby
An interception of the night
The journey of the ignorant
Companion of the oblivious
The opposition of brightness
The unspoken words of the blind
A friend of the shadows
A path of loneliness
Inequity within us
In every darkness, there is a
Glimmer of light waiting to be uncovered.

Her Independence-Nigeria

Her freedom She fought for, overcoming
 Hurdles' and struggles
Against all odds and cost
Alas! She did gain Her freedom
After Her history of pain
It was worth the fight.
She is called Nigeria!
Mother of Africa!
1st October 1960,
 I would not forget.
Arise 'O' Compatriot.
Arise 'O' Nigeria.

Happy Independence day.
