Loved One

As the tears pour down
In a harsh rain
The pool of memories
Fills and just as suddenly
Leaves a stain
Our pain shows like
Streaking lightning
Fear of losing this precious
One has hit our hearts full
Of shock It's frightening
Now gripping reality we realize
Our loss was great and
Our tears are many
Our memories are recapped
Plenty We will miss you
Dear one We will close your
Special book; only because
This chapter is done
Dedicated to my Son: Zachary

A Mother's Love

What is it about a mother that makes
her; oh-so rare? No
matter the problem-Momma's always there.
Offering courage
or excitement;laughter
or some tears.Momma's always there
to help conquer
all your fears.
Two arms
and all heart
She will hold you tight,
and still offer
perfect and unconditional
love;when all
you want to do is fight.
So..what is it
about a mother that makes
her always care?
It's the bond within her child..
The little angel that
she beared!

Momma's Kitten

no longer do the hours keep; the minutes pass me by. it's as if when you left all
of time time conceded to fly. your name i hear screaming come from my voice.
my prayer; please god no! was my only choice. you passed as softly as a setting
sun, and in the end, baby girl, immortality you have one. so it is with deep regrets
we will remember you here and yet with hints of happiness knowing one day we
will be there. heaven was your home from the start you see; so sit apon your
father's knee and sing praises all day long; for in our hearts we will forever play
your song.

Timed Steps

A quarter of a century, A life I have lived..What have
I learned? Ah, but life. A life full of adventure,
dissapointments, turns, and curves; life and death, joys
and tears.. I have pressed on- Through all the best,
and all the strife. How did I make it here? But
through one day at a time from one at a time.. I took
one stair. Climbing ever steadily up the stairs of
time; I have grown ever more each second through this
life. By every motion of my steps, I will continue to
climb through every obstacle my Lord has beckoned.
Whether easy or hard..I press on- For that moment
never lasts; It is just a matter of time- Until my
Lord calls me home forever from all endeavors of
evil..To rest in peace eternally- All steps have now
passed.
