Life
The window was shaded and tattered
The walls were dented and battered
A whistling breeze was heard and
goose bumps appeared
The breeze made me wheeze, the
searing pain left no gain!
Daybreak comes and heartache fades
years pass with nights full of tears
days filled with strength & accolades
The tears in my heart are not
mended, but each day I’m rewarded
with the courage to push forward!
