Poem: So Much To Do and So Little Time! So much to do and so little time. In a hurry oh please let time be on my side... Pep in my step goals on my mind so much to do and so little time. In a hurry oh please let time be on my side. Single mother 9-5 fighting in survial mode. Doing my best to make ends meet. Despite my hurt and tired feet. So much to do and so little time. In a hurry oh please let time be on my side. Can't forget to have fun even though it's a balancing of family, work, and close friends. So much to do and so little time. In a hurry oh please let time be on my side. Hoping one day to find unconditional love and be happily married. Being strong through challenges made me the mother, student, graduate, and survivalist. So much to do and so many possibilities.

Poem: I am 5'6
5'6 brown eyes 178lbs of soulfulness.
Yes my skin is dark brown but there is need for sadness.
What you're looking at is a woman with goals and vision.
Just don't try to interrupt the mission with static and signal drops.
I will make my dreams come true with hard work and precision.
The pain, let downs, and faded signals pushed to keep going in the battle of survival. From drawing boards, maybe next times I blocked out due to the urgency in my heart.
I am beautiful whether you think so or not.
Just don't to run up for a second try.
There is no reason why I shouldn't be treated like a queen.

Poem: Ink from a pen
Ink from a pen and words on paper.
I think about my goals and dreams.
Determination and drive make my goals a reality.
The morning sun on my face as I walk to the bus stop.
Coffee in my hand, bus pass in my pocket and a let's get this money plan.
Ink from a pen and words on paper.
Everyday isn't a Rose garden which are the ones I have to go ham.
I have to bring home the groceries, prep the meal, and spray my skillet with Pam.
I think about my goals and dreams.
Determination and drive make my goals a reality.
Working hard day in and day out to chase away failure and doubt.

Vision, goals, and dreams inspire my fire.

Poem: Never Give Up!
Change means growth and letting go of the past. I know it can be easier said than done. I reached a place in my life that I don't want to loose the things are more important to me. I had people who cared. And told me not to give up. Sometimes I felt like everyone else was perfect but me. I kept going anyway right into exhaustion. Something's are meant to be taken literally. Never Give Up! Somebody is sees the fight in you. So pick your self up and your brain hit the restart button. Never Give Up No it's not too late let the ney Sayers eat their own hate. I had a few battles myself and I am proud because with courage, meditation, and self care. I made it !. Never Give Up! You won't break because you took time to reach for the reflection and zen. At the end of the day we are all human. Never Give Up!

Had some wins and losses along my journey.
The lessons of life brought out the woman in me.
On my face fingers point, whispers in face.
I would get back up I've worked too hard to quit.
In My Shoes
Get ready for another day.
Class projects, tests, exams, and on the bus get my child from daycare.
While I still wear the hat of the single mom.
The harsh criticism of those who thought I wouldn't keep going.
Somehow I put my best foot forward and made it sparkle.

I still have hope that there is a King out there for me. I am the woman who has been through some pain, cried tears at night, and still gets back up.
