Eclipse of the Mind

When the day fades to night 
my demons come out to play
I know they're trying to kill me  
Even when I’m wide awake
Every time I close my eyes 
The dead appears in my dreams
How can I escape this darkness 
When daylight reflects  tragedy 
Time after time I fight these battles 
Mentally fatigued and all alone 
Desperately and impatiently waiting
For my Angels to take me home
My heart aches for the love once felt
Before my soul they came to take
I’m tired of being this shell of myself
My mind full of negativity and hate
My health has now turned against me
Only further pushing me down
I feel like I’m stranded in a ocean
While my only option left is to drown
But the fighter in me will never give up
No matter how much darker it becomes
The demons may think the war is over
But my determination says it’s just begun

With the summer sun
And the winter rain
Memories are made
As the seasons change
Young ones are born
As old ones die
Life is always changing
As time passes by
A bond is made
That will last forever
Love is made
As two hearts beat together

The Lost Soul

The painted glass 
tarnished from seasons 
of a forgotten time
No longer glistens with illusions
of purpose to occupy the tainted mind
A glow once radiant  so vivid 
it was responsible for a thousand  smiles 
now appears pale 
blinded from darkness 
left unattended and wild.

Judgement Day

Upon these shores
My waves are crashing
Just as the thorns
Against my head
I gave you life
And you gave a promise
Now against my will
You wash your hands
When I return
I'll return with vengance
I will not bring glory
As I brought before
When I'm done
Again you'll be a believer
But in the world you exist
Will exist never more!!

Moonlight

Walking under the stars
With just moonlight and me
Thinking about my life
And all of it's tragedies
The wind is blowing softly
As I feel drops of rain
Perhaps it's just angels tears
Falling for my pain
As the sun begins to rise
I kneel down upon my knees
that's when I heard God's voice
Saying he will always be here for me!!!!

Passing Time

Time passes by 
like Ravens in the sky
and the pain of time 
can be as sharp as the Ravens claw
We're left standing alone 
without wings of our own 
to seek the life we once saw
How did it begin
and when will it end 
guess the answers we will never know
I pick up my bones 
and I keep moving on
searching for the seeds 
I was meant to sew!!

Chasing Lovd

I wish I could show you ,
The vision that came to me.
It showed 2 people falling in love ,
Living life and making memories.
I know the feelings inside of my soul ,
Are real and straight from my heart. 
Because if they were just a crush ,
I wouldn't be so sad & lonely when we're apart.
I even tried to stop myself ,
From falling for you so deep.
But a love so deep and as pure as 
mine ,
Is a love that is made for you to  keep.
I know you say you are not ready ,
But I believe I can tear down your walls.
Then the life that we will share , 
Will be a life that will out last them all!!
