Kiss

Kiss her like you are The safest place she has known The brightest star she has seen The best of herself she has felt Kiss her like You are her messiah in her world of pain And she, your place of retreat.

Reality Check

Try not to
Held yourself together, always.
Experience a heartbreak,
Go through pains,
Stop coddling your heart,
Leave luxury of unhurriedness,
And step into
The world of reality.

Lack of Words

We parted ways
for the lack of words,
to save our love.
Now these thousands
of muses seem useless
and the silence dreadful,
will you come back
if i just scribble your name now?

Coffee

I remember your
Early morning latte
Late evening cappuccino
Midnight espresso
And all things between them.
But now, I just have their tinges
Be it your coffees
Or your memoirs.

What Defines You

Your failures don’t define you
Nor do your achievements
What defines you
Is the way you treat someone
Who can’t give you anything
In return.

Fading

It’s fading.
The intent of kissing you
At random places
The impulse of hearing
your sleepy voice
The urge of calling you
at an odd hour of 3am
The wish of being with you
here and now.
It’s all fading.

Again

i know
we will never be same again
after all those hugs
and kisses
and cuddling all night.
let's just go back a step
or an ahead would be amazing.
i am doing my part
you give yours too
but now
i just hope
we could be same again.
