Nolan Damons Poem
In the images of mind I beheld a place of radiant glory which overflows with triumph.
Oh, how I haved longed to remove the divide between my dreams and reality!
I have scrolled and read and filled my head with black scribbles .
Scribbles which I can recite and explain.
Yet, with longing eyes I stand at the window outside, staring inside,
right into the face of that which eludes.
My ultimate goal is to truly be me,
Right at this very moment - Just me.
The multiple-choice grid of life lays before my eyes.
I must decide.
Will I reach the peek of my choice- self?
Or dwindle in the fear of past ghosts.
Peak or boo?
The stars and the moon, the sun and the ocean never stop.
As soldiers of endurance they move on and work together.
I am a warrior.
Biter of bullets and dodger of sharp blades.
I was born to overcome.

Nolan Damons Poem
Who am I?
What am I doing in this match against unknown worlds?
I am sitting in a corner watching four walls move in on me, while the floor ascends and the ceiling descends.
Where do you go when you are frozen as ice from head to toe?
Can you see me?
Do you feel the yearnings of my heart?
Each day I wear a face full of make-up and a smile made of brittle glass.
Who can feel my love beyond my circumstances.
Unveiled to myself...
Do I like what I see?
