Quiet, parted by a gentle breeze
A still life beckons us to proceed
I smile as they gaze
Those tiny creatures endure their praise

I found my soul in Patagonia

Hide from their innocent eyes
Magic encased, our awaited prize
Dust behind and memories flow
Though snakes may cover the road below

There I danced as you pulled the strings
No idea the consequence of our fling
Rhythm melted the ice
Enlightened by your clever device

A Dream of Home

Your big green eyes have swallowed my mind
And stolen my sight
My mind has bled and turned my captor
I'm healing faster
Can't do it alone
Can't do it alone

Behind me... I've burned up the veil...
And now... I cannot fail                     
I'm not only just smitten... 
by the words that you've written

I had a Dream
A Dream of us
A Dream of us back home
You know, we've come so far
The gears of time are grinding us together
In the clockwork skies
Spilling from our eyes

I feel the lies that keep me from you
Now they lie broken
Billions of years can't hide you from me
Never again
So far from home

In Time

Afraid of what might be, why are you inside me?

I find your trials in the way
as I unravel more each day
This game is nothing I can't shape
Follow me... Into the abyss
Take my hand, walk along with me
I'll show you everything I see
Here, from Hell to Heaven's gate
In time the fear will fade away...

I feel I've been slighted, but I have decided...

I'll hold you as we burn away
This fire must be our last escape
Once gone, will nothing else remain?
I'll follow...  Into the abyss
Your fears are broken, now I say
My grip is stronger anyway
Now, I'll pull you from self hate
In time the darkness dissipates...

What is this feeling I can't shake?
Why did my universe just break?
Nothing within me left to take
I'm hollow... Inside the abyss.
Not alone now, who's in front of me
We're bound together at our feet
Dream, and feel us integrate
In time we'll be no mystery...

We've seen what this life is, now our minds are priceless.

What you have done for me this way
Held my will as it went astray
I live now only to repay

Never Me

I'm growing now and have been since I found the prism's edge
A child inside that died while I just pushed him from the ledge
I pushed him from the ledge

His freedom grasped forever clasped; given to those who sing
My growth would wane if not insane, but the ceiling found its wings

Perpetual pain
For growth and gain
The poison lost its sting
Stand in the rain
With no disdain

No end to feign

My being, there; I'll never care or even want to cry

Belonging here, and chasing fear forever through the sky

I found my center
And then I saw yours
This dream we created

Fractal love will abound
Not one left behind

My Pretty Life

They tell me to push, to finish my race
Though I wonder these days, can I keep this pace?
Nothing changed, same as it was long before
The goal may shift, but they always keep score
I guess that I failed them time and again
But the blame's not mine, no...
Nor was the plan.

Is this pretty life I'm living
All that I wanted it to be
Is this silly path that I've led
Worth more than the tears that were shed?
Will this pretty life I'm living
Ever look...
Ever feel...
Ever be...
The way I know we all dream?

At the end of old and start of the new
I found that I could never ignore you
Preoccupation with lofty modes of thought
Has taken my mind down the tracks that you wrought
Tore the veil and cleansed the mind's eye
Was blind before.  Oh...
'Til I looked to the sky

Ideas converge and old dreams replaced
This life I've led here will not go to waste
My dreams are built from yours...
The soul lifts to soar

Ahead of me is the future I make
And yes, I am aware of what's at stake
But I do not have the luxury now
To wonder if I'll regret this somehow
I'll plunge headfirst into the heart of the storm
Will I find you there?

Violet

Entangled in the twisted vines 
With all of life's shame left behind
In the vines
These withered branches animate 
Floral beauty incarnate

I am the shining Sun above
Though clouds would hide my depth of love 
High above
The light inside is piercing through
All around and down on you
Down on you

...The storm. The storm is raging.
Slowing, ever changing...
The sun, the light is coming...
Through darkness neverending
It seems to me...
That soon we'll see...
The world just as it's meant to be...

But now it's raining and I know you're happy
I can feel it when you smile about me
Keep smiling
If less is more then stay away
Unless you don't care what they say

Then let the rainfall pour down on you
As the Sun will burn it off you

Lunatic

Moving west, the sun has set and blood shined over you
Now in this place, I count this grace a gift from something true
You've shaken me, but breaking isn't something that I do
So now I lift my weary head, and cry out to the moon

Unending dark
Forever will be tempered by my grin
Time now to start 
I found your heart
I will enjoy this night with you
In endless dark
Deep in your heart
Deep, deep inside of you

Above duress, though I confess the pain of breaking through
I found the mess just as you left and picked a fight with you
Ironed out the wrinkled fabric, nothing else to choose
It laid us back onto this track, as they howl at the moon

They're crashing in, and bashing me around my empty cell
The hollow nest inside my chest is holding them from hell
Would you rise up to set them down? Of course, it's what you do.
Then stick around with all we've found, and cry out to the moon

Hear my plea, and you will see, what I believe
Will save us all
I don't know, how far we'll go, but if we grow
Our wings, we'll fly
Look in reverse, it's been rehearsed, past wasn't first
We've been deceived
Fallen man, can't understand, or see the plan
Though he may seek
Live in fear, too long my dear, you'll never hear
The voice of truth
Cast aside, that cyanide, forget your pride
Or we all die
Then embrace, and set in place, the saving grace
Of your own mind
Dive inside, but never hide, that you're alive
