A world without you in it is so very strange
Being with someone else seems out of range
I never thought I would miss you this much
I never thought I would miss your hugs or your touch
I took you for granted and ran away
I didn't want to fight so I just wouldn't stay
I missed the times we had together
I will cherish every last one of them forever
We had good times and bad
My heart is so sad
I can't stop thinking of the events of that day
Half of me died with you I must say
I love you until we are together again
A new life me and her must begin

Can anybody define the word normal
This word for me creates turmoil
What is normal to you may not be normal to me
Besides who made you judge, to judge all of thee
Is it because of my skin color or where I was raised
Or is it because of my religion or because of the God I praised
Is it because I care about people way too much
Or is it because I fed homeless man lunch
Tell me what is crazy tell me how I'm supposed to act
I don't want to hear theory I want to hear a fact
Tell me when will I ever be good enough for you
When will you treat me differently and better than you do
Is it because I have a different opinion than you
Or that I voted with a different political view
Why do people judge but can't tell you what's right
Why do people kill one another
Why do people fight
Why can't you show love and show your light
Why do people hate when they don't know their fate
When will we figure it out or will it be too late
The kid you bullied in school
All because you thought you were so cool
Cried themself to sleep
Because you hurt them so deep
When will you stop all the hurt
Stop kicking that kid in the dirt
Don't call people crazy don't put them down
Make them smile don't cause a frown
Call your family bc they won't always be there
Show them your love and let them know that you care
God only asked us to do one thing and that was to Love one another
Embrace your life and forgive eachother
