Hope

Call me crazy that I care so much
I hope you feel the same,
I hope you mean it when you say I live you
I hope it's not a game.
There's just something about you I love so much
That alway's makes me smile,
Probably because you've always helped
You've helped me for a while.
I know you'll never hurt me
Your promise is your word,
I know you've never lied to me
You've said what should be heard.
I love your truth and honesty
Except for when your mad,
The way you run and hide from me
It confuses and makes me sad.
I hope that now the worst is over
And all the pain is gone,
I hope that now my life will change
And no more will go wrong.
So I hope you'll still be here for me
And mean all taht you say,
Because all the words I speak to you
I mean in every way.

Confused

Why is time so slow?
Why is day so long?
Why is hour so complicated?
Why is minute so wrong?
I can't help but to think
Why this world's so weird,
It's kind of like something
That I have always feared.
You sit and wonder why
You were brought here in the first place,
Not to only think
That it's kind of like a race.
To see who lives,
To see who dies,
To see who whispers,
Or tells all lies.
You never know what happens
In the very end,
It's time to end this complication
There's no more to be said.

Fight

I look into the mirror
And wonder what I see,
Is this person real or fake
Is it really me?
Questioning who I really am
Always wondering what is right,
Questioning my way of life
A life I have to fight.
A fight to change the way I live
A fight to run away,
A fight to find my one true love
To make it all okay.
Maybe all I need is a little help
And give all I can give,
I'll probably feel like an actual person
Who really wants to live.

A Friend

A friend is like a flower
A rose to be exact,
Or maybe like a brand new gate
That never comes unlatched.
A friends is like an owl
Both beautiful and wise,
Or maybe like a ghost
Whose spirit never dies.
A friend is like those blades of grass
That you can never seem to mow,
Standing straight and tall
In a perfect little row.
A friend is like a heart
That goes on strong until the end,
Where would we be in this world
If we did not have a friend?

Somebody

Somebody once told me
That it's always nice to have a friend,
Someone you can rely on
Who'll be there until the end.
Someone you can talk to
Who will never tell a lie,
Who always has a shoulder waiting
When you need somewhere to cry.
Whose always there to make you laugh
When your really not in the mood,
Who can keep a promise, stand by your side
Who wants not to be rude.
Who wants to help you always
Through all the good times and the bad,
It's always nice to have a friend
A friend I wish I had.

Unanswered

Every minute that we are apart
It makes me want you more.
The stillness of the moments
That pass me by like seconds,
Makes my life seem empty and shallow.
Should I done speak?
Or should I surrender all dreams
And thoughts to the heart of the night?
The question remains unanswered.
As I walk through your soul
A dream seems to be good,
A kiss seems too far away to love.
If only we could stop the cries,
Stop the pain.
We both try to heal.
Would it end?
Would our blood strain tears?
No longer exist?
The question remains unanswered.
The answers are quaint....
Your kisses are gone....
My touch has seized.

Friends

It's hard to write out something
To someone you don't even know,
To sit and think for hours on end
On how to make that friendship grow.
Thinking of who he is
Or what he does,
Of what he did
Or what he was.
To wonder if you can only trust
The one you want to call friend,
To keep the things we want a secret
Until the very end.
A promise is something that should not be broken
Until the end of time,
If I keep you thoughts a secret
Do you promise you will keep mine?
So now that we are friends
And friends we are together,
Friends is what we will stay
Friends we'll be forever.
