Dear Lord, let there be peace now
We, your children want so much to see it
Dear Lord, let there be universal love now
We, your children yearn for it
For You we all want to feel it now.
Dear Lord, let your guiding light shine upon us,
Your children who truly love You
So that we can work with You
To create harmony and peace
Here on earth, where we live
Now and always.
Dear Lord, let us join with those who pray diligently
For the well-being of our planet
So that we all can see, hear, smell, taste and feel....
And just be
Peace, Love, Harmony and Shining Lights
The wonderful creations of You, dear Lord. Amen

My last name sounds Irish
Am I an Irish rose?
I got kinda tirish
Of even my pug nose
Who knows....if anyone will ever guess
what I really am
That is: first generation Ameerican, of Middle Eastern parents
Hmm....speaking Arabic may get me in a real jam....
So I can....sing Danny Boy,
When Irish Eyes Are Smilin'
I look real good in green
And no one Irish was ever mean--
To me.
You see, I love passing for Irish
Just for today, why it's stylish!
Happy St. Patrick's Day, anyway....

If you take me to the dance
Each and every weekend chance
I will prove it all to you
That Yankees love to two-step, too
Do da do, dee do do do....
We'll learn to do the line dance well
Then chat with friends for a spell
I'd love to two-step to that band
When you twirl me hold tight to my hand
And I'll prove it all to you
That Yankees love to two-step, too!
Now ya'll it's time to celebrate
Birthdays, friends and eat sweet cake
You're sweet enough to dance with too
Can I prove it all to you
That Yankees love to two-step, too!
Oh where's my ticket so I can win
And smile about my good fortune
Do ya wanna share the prize with me
It's a tee shirt--way too big, ya see
Have I proved it all to you
That Yankees love to two-step too!
We had some fun and met new friends
Yes, we'll be back to dance again
I'm sure I've proved it all to you
That Yankees love to two-step, too!

The weather is not good for me
Therefore it is my enemy
Should I be angry at the weather?
Never!
Our Father created it
And that's the reason
For this season to be freezin'
It's also the season to be jolly
So deck the halls with boughs of holly
And do not get into any folly
With the weather!
Praise Jesus cause He sees us
Freezin' and wheezin'
And He gives us a reason
To be happy in this season
Called winter.
Thank you, Lord for being born
At the beginning of it.

Our good earth and the people on it are ever changing
For the better, and it is good
So let's all embrace we know with a hug
Of acceptance, forgiveness, freedom, love and peace.
And let's hug all those whom we have met
Along the road to reaching heaven
Even the ignorant, the bitter, and sufferers,
For they too will grow from being embraced by us
Who are already aware of what to do to create peace here.
You see, heaven is really just peace on earth
And it starts with peace deep within our own
Very essence of our souls
Among us all is one good wholeness
So take this moment to pray from your heart
As it is the greatest strength on earth
And it works!

There is nothing to gain
From all this pain
I wish it would rain
Healing snowflakes on me
Then I would shout with glee
I'm free! Free to dance on the floor
Everyone will smile galore
And say, "What grace and energy she has!"
Then all the pain will be in my past...
