Sore.

you are my fear. my state of panic. and you make my heart soar.
falling back on my spiral notebook with tattered corners
to confess my love to you. i spent my time alone as a forigner
to myself when my mind and heart were yours.
but whats this? i see freedom from my personal wars!
i was lost in your razzle and dazzle every time before
but now as i look in from the unstained glass
i see everything you have ever represented or stood for
has been thrown to the wind and i'm left with the vision of a whore.
not of the skin. but for what we see fit as fitting in
a consumer of sin moreso than even i have ever been before
a package for you my dear.
its your soul, thats why i've come to your door.
take the filth from your ear
in that silence, there is a new life in store
and let me just get one thing clear
you are my fear. my state of panic. and you make my heart sore.

Feel.

farewell my dear
your fair, but not well
i whisper into my ear
the secrets of my hell
although you can't hear
you should be able to tell
its not what i see that i fear
its the thought of your spell

Pick me up
I've never had to fall down
a mental nip and tuck
and im standing upright right now
its by my will and luck
because no help from you was found
you run my heart into the ground
now my feelings fail to make a sound

My Heart's Love Slips.

now with plenty of time for evil and plenty left over for some good
you and i were so brave, quietly charging for what we stood
you in my arms is what had made me feel great
and in those now fallen moments of warm embrace
i can still travel and taste what it used to be like
i can still feel the your heartbeat on every cool summer night

neither you nor i
really understood why
we had to try so hard
but even now your heart's not far

your soft lips are in the ground
but your soul's nowhere on earth to be found
your heart is still mine i know
but now i'm forced walk alone
god saw fit to take you away
and i hope he see's enough in me
to take me home to you someday

when you last saw me, you said honey ill be back before you know it.
and when i heard that news i hated everything in the world for a moment
i knew that i had lost you, and i had tried so hard not to show it
but when i heald your hand in mine,i knew you were god's for good
in your last breath of pain you gripped as tight as a dying girl could,
and in my arms you passed on as i never pictured you would.

as my tears fell upon you
my fairytale lore failed
no waking up from this sleep
my last ship of hope, set sail
i kissed what used to be
less crimson colored lips
and in the first moment
of the end of my life
my heart's love slips
its only yours now.

Rhyme? Ha! Reason? Haha!

BAM!
	    do you see?
	    breaking free from the restraint
the ever-formed rhyming that would bring
		           a most beautiful picture
but now, its part of a different blend
	  "Poetry!?" says reason
		"i left it long ago"
		in his footsteps
	      rhyme must now take leave
do you see what has happened?
is it a sonnet?
		NO!
	that must have s
		         t
		         r
		       u
		    c
	               u
		    r
	                 e
 		      !
so if

				please

	be

Insult To the Form

A homage to all that unnerves, this may be
and with a striking fist, i disapprove of it
may you not rhyme, may you not sound
any shape or form of the word beautiful

what to discover? a fleeting knowlege?
a rapidly decaying understanding of
the understatments of your feelings?
maybe thats an effect, due to your ignorance.

why is this my sensless plea?
has all been written in the world?
surely as i pen this, i prove it not.
no form, no passion, no art behind it.

sure my own may be shortened,
but meaning they lack not
with this near complete
not in it's time
has one rhyme been...oops.

The Air of Life

the fields blow against the wind of the hills
the land rolls with the gust of God's breath
it clutches the hearts of those that see
and as quick as it comes, so does its death

Don'T Take What Everyone Else Makes For You.

my feet set cold in the chaos of the stream
i stare with tired eyes at what's become clean
so long a traveling soul has never sat
and my heart comforts itself in that one fact

because what harm can it bring
if my own song i could sing
if i stopped dead in your tracks
and i slowly turned my back
on your world.
