My Body Is a Jalopy

My body is a jalopy
and running sort of slow.
I have a rattle, clunk and bang
in my giddy up and go.

My seat seems to be dragging
and hanging kind of low.
I'm not a pretty sight to see,
so don't expect a show.

My headlights are getting dim,
I don't see well you know.
I keep on slipping and sliding,
my engine wants to blow.

My wiper arms are sagging,
this I'll never outgrow.
My fenders once were shapely,
now they bounce to and fro.

My radiator sprung a leak,
that'll cost some dough.
With the spurting and coughing,
my life is full of woe.

My paint job is wearing thin,
on top there is some snow.
Not much anyone can do,
to fix this old shadow.

I'd like to trade this body in,
from my head to my toe.
If you should see my jalopy,
wave and say "hello."
