Gregory Horn Poem
A time when money rules
We can only watch
We dream of what we could have been
While just burning the clock
Don’t take life lightly
It’s never too late
You can have a second chance
Don’t make the mistake
You have your solid job
That doesn’t what makes you tick
You move through your life
Pretending for the next
But you fake the things
that really you should mean
It’s cover for this outside world
Just so you don’t have to face them
You are not forgotten
You’re not left behind
You have the contents
And you make your move
This life is what you make it
Do you want to leave it alone
Don’t run away from it
That’s a journey we all know
Take what you have
Throw all else away
There’s hope for all others
No matter what they say
If one could define evil
I think one thing we can agree
Not performing to your potential
Is killing like a mercenary
The world keeps us in front of the tube
Scared of what might happen
How can we view their ads
If we’re always on the move
The world’s not strong enough
To make these things happen
We don’t have bad luck
It’s the propaganda machine
Don’t let it keep you down
You don’t have to take it
This all cause and affect
So be what your meant to be

Gregory Horn Poem
Another twist and turn
Another life unlearned
What makes us change
Why do we turn around
We’re just here with no agenda
Is there a place for this
I’m just looking for the reason
But the ride that you take
Doesn’t always make the trip
Some things we can’t always count on
You put your trust is some
You don’t believe in most
If you knew what would come
Then you would be more frightened
I’ve been here before
I guess I’ll be here again
Although it’s hard
It’s better than the alternate
I know what to expect
I don’t want to deal
That’s not the choice that all of us get
We become lovers then become others
That’s the cycle of making our bed
We’re running in circles
To find an answer
We’re looking for something
Without the directions
We’re running in circles
Without a compass
The search will lead you
To yourself

Gregory Horn Poem
What good is love if you don’t have a name
What good would you bring if you were the same
I know we could go but you locked the door
I know what you know, or at least you did before
You think what I think we are the same
You live in your surroundings and we play the game
And I know what you know when you locked that door
You see where I go and I don’t know you anymore.
Now I am left here to fend on my own
Our world has decided that I can’t go on
What good is society if they can make that choice
They don’t know the good that I bring, and so many like me before
I thought the sky was falling
The rain was coming down
Were you in the midst
I was lost from all the sound
And I knew that heros were welcome
What would I have to do now
I am just an ordinary
One man lost in the crowd
Heros come and they go
Though it’s imaginary what they show
This is how we began
Heros come and they go
But we must stay and show
That we will live again

Gregory Horn Poem
You’re the god send,
You’re often lost in your own thoughts,
For something bigger.
Don’t have to be the leader,
but your often the one that’s sought
more often than not
you ask the question, what if it were true?
The appropriateness that truly, truly defines you
You long to get out of the darkness
And into the light
God of your dreams
God of your domain
the truth will set you free
Hope is all that remains
It's not literal movement
Only a state of mind
Subtle of the myth
The gods stood looking at the light
But not from the window
It’s the brightness of the night
To find that one inside
It’s a gift that you can’t buy
This is what belongs to me
This is where I fit in
We’re right they’re wrong
That’s the way it’s got to be
Make the most of the dream
Make the most of the night
Just because there’s darkness
Doesn’t mean there’s no light
It’s the ever changing longing
From here to where we go

Gregory Horn Poem
You know why that we can know
You have fought and made it whole
From here you can get on the back
Now then we got it back on track
We must hold on
Take one that's strong
And you know why
That I can’t lie
Cause, when you come through my door
I can hold on no more
It must remain like this
I want your eternal kiss
And now we’re on, can’t go away
We live on from day to day
Each day we learn how to make our pact
From here to the end it’s a matter of fact
It’s a powerful way
The beauty of every day
It’s not always play
But the work will make us stay
When you come through my door
And I can take no more
I have no other wish
But to retain your eternal kiss

Gregory Horn Poem
I’ve seen the beauty,
I’ve seen the devil
I’ve been around the purity,
I know why Cain killed Abel
There are blockades in our life
There’s right and wrong
So we wish we could ignore
But we don’t know which to do
Sometimes everything seems wrong
There are things you have to choose
We left when we want more
That’s not the right thing to do
When life tears you apart
It makes a life that choice
That's when you think real hard
And come up with what’s yours
Bury me in the sand
Lift my name up high
From wounds of a wanted man
To the cape that allows you to fly
You can’t always take it with you
But you can find a home
You are welcomed everywhere
But some places you can’t go
Just when you’re at you lowest
Your peak will surely grow
You can’t always pretend
And I know you know
Even though you can’t find me
You know where we are
This is where I come in
And take us to the stars
And I know what to do
I know I can’t stay
Stay away from you
Just when you got down
You think you’re not around
But I know that ain’t true
Take a look around
We got plans to make
I can’t get away from you
And you will always find something new
You know it’s what we’re meant to do
No matter what we’re going through
You will always find something new
And I know where we are And you know where we are
You can’t always pretend
And I know where we are And you know where we are
Even though you can’t always find me

Gregory Horn Poem
To be thoughtful of your soul
Is only paralleled by your goal
You were brought here to be living
Enhancement of our world
We can give you the time, we try to get the cure
You can’t make it on your own
You have to have your band with you
That the part that makes it whole
Everyone tries to get ahead
Sometimes at all cost
There are some around that think that
These things can make us lost
It’s because of the good people in the world
That we can coexist
It’s because of the good thought of others
That we can write like this
The pure heart is the reason for today
The good one is how we get by on life
Don’t believe the hype that always puts you first
It not always because of you that you meet your worth
You are a part of the pure heart
You are the reason for the stars
Thank goodness for your constant Soul
It’s people like you that make our life
It’s worth living because you’re alive
Your benevolent spirit keeps up in this World

Gregory Horn Poem
This how is it happens to people
Look out how we have to live
We can’t take a part of something
If we’re not going to give
Thought you had to be good at something
You always have to win
You never even considered
The game might some to an end
So take it always, Take it always
This is how we feel it for real
Make it always, Don’t break it always
From here we can see our home
Look at you and what you know
That’s all you can ever count on
But that doesn’t diminish your ability
That just portrays how to attain you goal
Now we have the gifts to prosper
What you do is up to you
Make the most no matter what your age
It’s never too late to rule the world
What happens to me
Can happen to you
We move together
Across the moonlight
Call the others
We're like thoughts in the night
Make the most of it
No matter who you are

Gregory Horn Poem
I don’t know where I’m going
I only know where I’ve been
I know what I was taught
I know that we have sinned
Don’t get caught up in this masquerade
They will take ‘til you can’t give
They will look you straight in the eye
And tell you how to live
This place that we call honest
Is the place we can’t forget
They teach to live forgiveness
Yet they persecute to the end
We look down on others
For their restrictive ways
What good is that developing land
Yet we sell our soul to get paid
We look down on others
Can’t they figure it out
But we sit here under dictator
Only we can’t throw him out
We should all run
We should all hide
We can save ourselves from this time
Why can’t we all run
A place that they can’t find
So our dreams are truly ours tonight
