Kristina Bruni Poem
As aloof as I seem to be
Like a masquerade ball
I'll hypnotize you with obscurity and mystery.
Staring straight through your opaque façade,
Crimson and ebony float around us as we mingle together.
As I cut through your image, I'll suture you back up as well.
I'll veneer your personality and become aloof as death puts me
to sleep, because I only own the night.

Kristina Bruni Poem
Battle rapping helps the anger within
Whatever you can think of
Whatever evil sin.
Spitting words that seem
To fit your life.
Gives you a sort of freedom
Like winning a giant fight.
To think of the top of you head
Strifes that come to mind
Clears away the hurt
Makes you a bit more kind.
To bottle it all up
Creates a danger zone
Nobody wants to be close to
Nobody wants in their home.

Kristina Bruni Poem
"We've Only Just Begun",
A song that rewinds back,
to my childhood that I used
to listen to with mom and dad.
Sometimes on the radio
or the record player we had.
The melody would play and
I would smile real glad.
Working with people
To make a decent life,
Never acting defiant
Yet learning from my strife.

Kristina Bruni Poem
I need everyone to come together
and do the right thing.
When somebody is in danger
and then phone doesn't ring
Its the worst feeling to have all your peeps
say we'll be there soon and then pass the weeks.
