A Kitchen Poem Prayer

God bless my little kitchen,
I love its every nook,
And bless me Lord as I do my work,
Wash pots and pans and even cook,
And may the meals that I prepare,
Be seasoned from above,
As we partake of earthly food,
Thy table for us spread,
We'll not forget to thank the Lord,
Who gives us daily bread,
So bless my little kitchen,
God and those who enter in,
May they find not but joy'n peace
And happiness within

The Furry Love Poem

What would I do without my precious furry friends,
Part mischeif but all blessing and faithful to the end,
You look at me with eyes of love,
You never hold a grudge,
You think I'm far to wonderful to criticize or judge,
It seems yor greatest joy in life is being close to me,
I think God knew how comforting your soft warm fur would be,
I know you think you're human,
But I'm glad it aint true,
Although the world would be a better place if folks were more like you,
A few short years is all we have and one day
we'll have to part, but you my pets will always have a place within my heart,

The True Meaning of Love

Just a man like you and me,
When he hung on the dogwood tree,
Feelings of pain,I know he felt,
When a blow from that spear was dealt,
Beaten and thirsty,hanging there,
The angry crowd did not care,
Gall and vinegar they gave him to drink,
Son of God he had no link,
Dressed in purple, crowned with thorns,
Was the raiment he was adorned,
Crucify him shouts were heard,
He let them willingly, without a word,
" Greater love hath no man than this"
Words were said for men amiss,
He could have brought them to there knees,
But he knew life's sacrifice was the key,
He looked ahead in time,
Right down into this heart of mine,
He saw promise in my life,
That's why he gave up without strife,
On the third day he rose again,
Eager to fulfill his Father's Plan,
How much he loves us, we fail to see,
He stretched his arms out and died for you and me,

Grandma's Home

Heaven must be close to Grandma's home,
I noticed that's where a lot of love is shown,
When I'm there a peace comes over me it seems I'm neve alone,
I think heaven is close to Grandma's home,
The trees are swaying and the floweres are all blown,
It's always calm at Grandma's home,

Grandma loves all, as God does his own,
I belive that heaven is close to Grandma's home,
Grandma has gone now and left us alone,
But now I'm sure heaven is Grandma's home.

Grandmother

You stood by me through it all,
You saw me stumble,
YOu saw me fall,
You picked me up and held me tight,
You washed away my tears and fears,
You walked by me through the years,
YOu were there when the tears came,
You were opened your arms once again,
You showed me love, you showed me strength,
You did for me at great lengths,

What I treasure most of all,
Is your love through it all,
Your beautiful face,
Your big green eyes,
Your heart of gold eternal size,
I miss your smile when I'm away,
I think of you each and every day,
My love for you will never die,
YOu are the apple of my eye,

Spiritual

Every night i lay me down,
I pray with God then sleep sound,
God is great with his ways,
His son Jesus is what he gave,
And when I'm scared I bow and say,
Save my soul Lord is what I pray,
Thank You God I still remember,
I once was weak my knees were limber,
You gave me strength for so long,
With you God now I'm strong,
Trouble may find us if we get bored,
Forgiveness will pray you give us Lord,
You guide me through my poems Lord,
To busy for the Devils forums,
My life is great God thanks to you!
