Adegoroye Olakunle Poem
The Reaper I know,
You respect no one.
When you decide to take one home,
Age, color, accomplishments mean nothing to you
In your court.
You harvest every soul
At your most convenience.
In life's prime and low, you strike hard
Without any consideration.
You cause unexplained weeping
And a void that will never be filled. You take when you want,
Without giving notice.
Who are we to question you?
You have control over all authorities.
Where fairness is not discussed
Oh, I don't expect you to be fair,
For your existence is not fair.

Adegoroye Olakunle Poem
Today, I am sixty-four years young; my spirit sings.
To those who stood for me, I salute and praise,
Your sacrifices and love, forever in my gaze.
To the brave hearts who fought for my independence,
I hail thee; your courage sets me free.
To the fallen heroes and heroines,
Your legacy lives on.
To the present generation, I say:
Treat me better, harness my resources, and make me great.
I have abundant treasures, fortunes to share with love and care.
Let my story be told, my voice be heard;
Manage me better.
Happy birthday.

Adegoroye Olakunle Poem
SILENCE
I know
There are hidden things to keep
To see the seed grow
With continuous flow
From something deep.

Adegoroye Olakunle Poem
*LIVE ON MY QUEEN*
_The ornate throne of love and beauty_
_are your possessions in our vicinity_
_you live in a palace of peace_
_where joy is felt with no mix_
_your acts are perfect with cool smiles_
_with your curing feet, you walked many miles_
_in my heart to think of you all the time._
*live on my queen,*
_your presence calls for hailing_
_your voice sends love to the atmosphere_
_that warms us all in the four hemispheres_
*live on,* _for peace prevalence_
_my queen , my own, the prudent one_
_Live on the real and special one._
*long live the queen*

Adegoroye Olakunle Poem
Let the joy that flows in the gate of affection
Flood your world like an ocean
And water your desert with a unique bloom.

Adegoroye Olakunle Poem
You can struggle In your dealings on earth
You may achieve all and end up a loner
Whom presumes life’s success and timing as a coin.
Through your shadows; find light
In your peril seek peace
In your loneliness seek companion
If you find one, tell the tale,
Write the song and sing your praise everyday.
If you find no place to call home
Live in harmony with yourself
And when it is time to leave
Bid a farewell and transit in peace.

Adegoroye Olakunle Poem
I know,
You gave up on me
It is fine
Not your fault at all
The sun gives up
For the moon to come out
The sunshine gives up
For the rain to wet the land,
It is no one’s fault
I heard you whispering
The contributions
That drained your energy and other resources.
I felt the pain
Of things you’ve sacrificed,
It is fine to give up on me;
Maybe I need to be left alone
And figure it out
All by myself.

Adegoroye Olakunle Poem
Meet me at the River of Hope,
where everything is achievable
simply by trusting in powers above.
Meet me at the Entrance of Forgiveness,
where we can let go of our wrongdoings
and embrace the bright side of our companionship.
Meet me at the River of Memory,
where we can reminisce about moments shared
and see for ourselves that our life has been beautiful with us.
If we cannot meet at any of these rivers,
at least meet me at the midpoint where our paths cross.

Adegoroye Olakunle Poem
Woman, the source of nourishment and happiness,
With a sweet soul, like that of a guiding angel.
Woman, the bedrock of a peaceful nation,
Nurtures and brings everyone to the table
To learn respect, compassion, and unity.
Woman, a being to adore, cherish, protect, and support,
Is an elegant queen, deserving of our love.
Woman, the one who lightens burdens,
Comforts with smiles and a warm hug of hope.
Woman, the symbol of care and kindness,
Brings balance, harmony, and joy to life.

Adegoroye Olakunle Poem
My face, a wrinkle deep,
My past, a messy choice,
My present, conflicting options,
Yet, I'm full of desire for a beauty queen.
