Glen Canning Poem
the purpose, in essence
defies all reason
devoid of logic
and in the absence of simplicity
beckons the resounding truth
somewhere amongst the shattered remnants
of what once was
begins the infinite chasm of the unknown
where the lesson one soon learns
is that some stones are better left unturned

Glen Canning Poem
Do we journey within the realms of our dreams?
Or do we dream in the midst of an endless journey?
Do we live solely to seek reason for our being?
Or is it our being that gives us sole reason to live?
Do we live simply to die?
Or do we die so that we can live?
Is there only birth and then death?
Or are there no ends and no beginnings,
….just life??

Glen Canning Poem
The bass line penetrates my body
My heart pounds simultaneously
A rhythmic trance
The ground trembles with every emphatic note
Lost in an enchanting ambience
All my troubles effortlessly float away
This pulsating energy barricades me within its impregnable fortress
I inhale wave after wave of indescribable bliss
The journey now complete
I am at peace

Glen Canning Poem
sweeping fields
stretch far into the distance
the gentle murmur of nature
my solitary companion
how I got here
I do not know
why this place
I have been shown
far from frantic
I observe my surroundings
each corner and every angle
one step closer to understanding
a certain reason
yet to be underlined
a grander purpose
yet to be defined
these many musings
I silently ponder
unknown to me
it’s my time to wander
