The Name

A love gone bad
a child so sad
he thinks his mommy is in a rug
and prays every dad to give her one more hug

he is only two
and did not know what to do

he watches on tv
as they pull his mommy from the ground

he talks to her on his toy phone
so he doesnt feel so alone
maybe in some ways the name Jessie Davis can save us
maybe some one will hear her story
and ask for help

writers note:
this is written for a woman whose body was just found
but i wrote it for all the people killed because they loved the wrong person
i hope if someone reads it and needs help they will ask somebody for it.Thanks
for reading it. Jessie you can rest now.
