My wrist is a canvas, to a forbidden art
And my blade is the brush
But when I’m feeling sad or low to my canvas I shall go
Ten years I finally see
What people have been telling me?
My smile is another person’s hope
To my canvas I will go
To give one last picture before I go
A farewell kiss to the past that is no more
To my future I will look to and
See the person I’ve come to be

My Blood is hot like the summer sun
sitting on this cliff edge this is where
it began with bottle of pills and an knife
As the water flow past below my feet
I cried in defeat "Why is this happening to me"
and as I said goodbye a voice came calling
to me say "My dear do not worry for life is tough
but you can win so please drop the knife"
As I sit her now looking at the sea wondering
what could of been if I do not hear my
love calling for me to stay for today its
nine years of those memories of my past that can
no longer hurt me
