Soul Addiction

And so I come back
again and again
to revisit our love
and why I foolishly
let it slip away
Self torture? No
To feed my soul's
addiction

Meeting You

I have never wanted to give someone a standing ovation until I met you, until I heard the six-string orchestra that is the spirit of your backbone, until I investigated the fingerprints others had left under your eyelids, until I met the ghosts you were sleeping with, until I discovered the scars in places you can't even talk about, yes, you make me feel like applause.

Dance With Me

If I ask you to dance with me
in the rain
in the store
in the night on the street
in the bedroom
with music or not
know
it means I love you

That's Life

Your smile may never be perfect, and that’s okay. Life is too short not to have the cloths, the car, and the teeth you want. Everyone (including your coworkers, your best friend, and some members of your family) will talk about you behind your back, and you’ll talk about them too. It doesn’t mean you don’t love each other. It’s okay to gorge on things that make you happy. Sometimes without fault or reason, relationships deteriorate. It will happen when you’re sixteen, it will happen when you’re sixty. That’s life.

Honor

He loves nothing more than the daily smiles she puts there, and he wears them like a badge of honor in his name. He loves nothing more than the daily smiles she puts there, and he wears them like a badge of honor in his name. Beautiful are the feelings that coarse through his veins of his soul when that special person smiles at him with honest love in her eyes.

Moment of Clarity

Her heart was pounding and she thought, "how could this be?" In such a short time, she had moved from one spectrum of the world into another. All things impossible became possible. She thought to herself about that moment when friendship turns into more and the desire to be with someone exceeds even her wildest expectations. In a moment of clarity, she was willing to give all up to be with the man that she was falling in love with. "Why", she asked herself? The realization hit her that nothing else mattered except for him and her being together and spending every waking day with him next to her. Her heart hurt with the need to be with this man. Could she jump the chasm and just accept what was happening?

Pleasure

The pleasure could be a sin, but the sin is always the pleasure, he said, I want to see you breathless, he tells her, I want you on the floor, against the wall, in various shades of desperation. And I want you raw and open before you learnt what it is to build walls....I love you

Wanting More

She sat down and thought for a moment, asking herself when did she start wanting more. It was then she realized it was the moment she heard his voice. The world opened up and what was once dark became shiny and new. No more shadows only sun

As She Hurts

She lies awake unable to escape thoughts of the past and present her eyes began to fill. No one has ever seen her break down, no one knows she cries herself to sleep, no one knows her biggest fears in life. She has become a master of masking the deeps scars and pain from her past with fake laughter and forced smiles in the present, but the pain never goes away.
