Ascended

From the depths of the blistering pit
he’s risen to reclaim new beginnings.
Outstretched ebony wings are dyed white by purity.
A halo has replaced the horns that once grew out from his crown.
An angel of deception has returned with a final decree of promise.
“Never again shall I defy against the morals that have been gifted to me.”
He bathed in the heavenly aura, seeking those in need of guidance.
“Good cannot completely overthrow evil,” he states.
“However it can be kept in check.”
His duties may soon be put into rest once the battle has ended.
The angelic one must keep the evil at bay.
He faces a brand new dawn.
His filled to the brim in hopefulness.
The lost past is hindered in the darkest part of his ancient heart.
Demons may come clawing toward him, pleading for his return.
Fortunately he quietly whispers his refusal and steps beyond the golden staircase.
Before the demons can intervene,
he vanishes in a glorifying manner.
For he has rewritten the fate for his imminent.

Her Spell

I become vulnerable whenever I’ve fallen under a spell.
It was cast upon me that late afternoon.
She strides across the room, her scarf swaying to the side.
All there was a single glance of acknowledgement.
Her light eyes complimented the glimmering burgundy eye shadow.
Her petite lips applied with wine coloured gloss, too divine to look away.
Waves of her hair flowing down her back like an enchanted river.
My curiosity emerging stronger by each day.
These words are no longer mine to control
Neither are my whereabouts.
Whether or not she’s aware of it,
she captivated me.

Sunday Goddess

Our legs intertwined between thick blankets.
Early sunlight kisses our eyes lightly, pleading for our awaking.
Your eyelashes gingerly flutter as the impurity of my hands travel down your thighs.
My fingers purposely brushing against your rose petals.
I taste the familiar fragrance in which my mouth craves deeply.
As much as I worship your body that sends
a passionate flame into my groins
nothing can also compare to your dark fashioned skin
soothingly breathing the name of autumn.
Your head full of spirals of dark curls that put
the highly praised blond hair to shame.
I press kisses across your sharp jawline creating
a spell of love no such magic can reverse
Your coffee painted eyes are my only source of caffeine.
One can be fully simulated by such a stare.
When you decide to wake from the world of dreams
I promise to reveal to you our flawless daydream.
