Cheyenne

In 2008 there once was a dog who loved me so
He came into my life but now he is gone
His name is Cheyenne, he was a labrador
And he always sat by the door

He sat by the door to wait for me
When I came home he would jump with glee
But since his departure from my life
Now my life has been stabbed with a knife
So I keep on going long like he fetched

Life has always been a stretch
Since he left there is no one to play ketch
Up with and to pet and play with
He will always be my friend.

If Souls Could Talk

If souls could talk they would say
“Don’t play chance with your life”
But sometimes you do.

If souls could talk they would say. “You have so many imperfections but take those imperfections and make them a perfection.”
You would say “But I have no imperfections” but that is what you think although the people around you think differently.

If souls could talk they would be talking up a storm because they would be saying that they had many imperfections while they were alive and now trying to make our lives a perfection by telling their imperfections like drinking alcohol like it is water or making those bad decisions that could ruin your life down the road because they will no matter if you forget or try to cover them up.
Now that you know, go and make your life better.
