Upside Down World It Is

Am I wrong,
Or has the world went upside down.
What happened to all? I wonder.

While I said "hello" to my bestie,
He replied "hi" through messenger.
What happened to him? I wonder

I asked my brother to go for an evening stroll,
I will accompany you on my cycle was his answer.
What happened to him? I wonder.

While I told my old colleague "I wanna catch up with you",
We will have a video chat session was his reply.
What happened to him? I wonder.

Is it me or is it the world around me
Has the world went upside down
Or it might be me, thinking downside up.

The Girl Who Searched For Horizon

She once ran and ran swiftly;
Over the green wet meadows and
Down the shallow valley land
Crossed the narrow long bridge
To reach at the beautiful ridge
Where the sky kissed the earth lovingly.

Tired she sat down looking sadly,
She thought it was near somewhere
But couldn't find the lovely place nowhere
As a flower that was about to wither
As a sad heroine of some writer
She still looked at the sight longingly.

She was dark and lovely;
Like she reflected nature's raw beauty
Her tiny eyes shined brightly
Like it holds full of energy and life
Her hair was long and swayed like
It was dancing in the breeze lazily.

Her innocent lovely smile suddenly,
Spreading on her curious face
Seeing a small dove flying apace
Felt like she forgot about finding
The horizon that she found interesting
When her eyes saw the bird quickly.

Swaying hands while running quickly;
Little feet covering short distance
It felt like God has showed his brilliance
When he dolled up the angel like doll
I pray never the Lord let her fall
And always love and embrace her softly.

[Dedicated to my friend Shithy who was my inspiration to write this poem.]

The Sweetness of Our First Secret Meeting

That beautiful moment you saw me
I saw your love-struck eyes glittered;
As if they were jewels under the sea
My eyes too shyly fluttered.

You slowly enclosed my small hands
With a beautiful naughty smile;
And while we rode over those lands
You held me even while entering the aisle.

The sweetness of your first kiss
And the sensation of your first touch;
Still lingers on my soft sweet lips
I blush reminiscing those moments, laying on my couch.

Each time you called me sweet names
And each time you looked into my eyes;
You never knew you ignited my flames
Of pure passion that underneath lies.

I knew you will have to go later
But I was not ready to part with you;
To make the sweet memories better
I kept on experiencing everything that was new.

At last the time came to say goodbyes
Both stood teary eyed, still the smiles remained there;
We both knew the time soon flies
And the day I become your bride will be near.

For one last time you hugged me tightly
Smelling my fragrance once again;
I had to admit that day was lovely
As all the difficulties we took to meet were not in vain.

Hold On To Your Hope

The moment you are never sure about yourself,
The moment you feel that you lost yourself,
The moment you feel the light in you has dimmed,
You start exploring,
You start realizing,
You start dreaming,
Your thirst for something new grows up and
Your hunger to see a new dawn wakes you up.
Hope will rise in your life slowly and slowly;
And those hopeful rays will help you finally.
So remember to hold on to your hope ever,
So that you will stagger from here never;
I promise, you will stagger from here never.

A Tween Angel Boy

My only uncle on the other day,
Was riding on his bike this way.

He was riding in a hurry burry manner,
I don't know what was the matter.

Suddenly his bike skidded over the road,
He fell down laying like a lifeless toad.

A cab driver passing saw my uncle's mischance,
The quadragenarian just spared a glance .

A child who came that way saw the scene,
Came for his help immediately the tween.

He tried lifting the big tall man,
Using all the strength as he can.

My uncle sat on the pavement for sometime,
And the boy gave him some water in the meantime.

After making sure he was fit and fine,
The boy went away like some angel that is divine.

My uncle came home with a small bruise,
And said that the boy must be able to muse;

Everyone older and younger than him,
Though he knew he was too small and slim;

Yet never hesitated to give a helping hand,
Making humanity in this world expand.

The Song That You Never Sung Darling

The song that you never sung darling,
Has the best lines that have ever been written,
You thought I never knew, isn't it love?
You forgot that our hearts are attached dear.

The song that you never sung darling,
Has the sweetest tune that I have ever heard,
You never realized that I counted your heartbeats;
You forgot that our hearts are attached dear.

The song that you never sung darling,
Has the most beautiful words I have ever read,
You sometimes never saw my love for you;
You forgot that our hearts are attached dear.

Though, time has passed away;
And you are very far away.
I know it's a sad moment for us;
But love, the song is right for us.

So sing for one last time love;
For our blessed everlasting love.
So sing for those last moments;
Reminiscing the good old moments.

I know it’s sad and depressing but,
It was the best song ever that I have heard.
Sing for one last time love;
Sing for those last moments.

Light Your Life

Everything needs to change
It hurts, it pains but;
Everything needs a change
It kills, it stings but;
Everything has to change.

Learn to forget the old past
It's difficult I know, but;
Learn to accept the new future
It's not easy I know, but;
Learn to live your only life.

I know you want to stay happy,
And so does your heart.
I know you want stay calm,
And so does your body.
I know you need your life back.

So open your eyes to future,
And shut your eyes to your past.
So hear the new joyful tunes,
Stop hearing all those sad songs.
You will finally reach there...finally.
