You Showed Me

You showed me
I once was lost, broken and afraid
 afraid of love
I once felt alone and betrayed and unwanted
felt like I had no one
I was alone in this big o world
not knowing what to do or where to go
i wanted to give up I just wanted to end it all...
Then you walked into my life
you showed me love
you taught me there was nothing to be afraid of.
You showed me I wasn't alone.
You never betrayed me.
You wanted me when I didn't want myself.
You pushed me when I couldn't push myself.
You picked me up when I fell.
You showed me that I was worth more.
You showed me how to be me.
You showed me how to believe in myself.
You showed me the real me

You Showed Me Love Is Real

You showed me hope when I thought all was lost
You showed me love when all seen was hate
You showed me passion when all I seen was pain
You showed me how to be brave when I was afraid
You showed me strength when I was weak
You showed me light when all I seen was darkness
You showed me life when all I seen was death
You showed me attention when all I seen was loneliness
You showed me how to believe in myself when I doubted
You showed me love is real when I thought it was a fairy tale
You showed me courage when I was a coward
You showed me the real me when I thought I was to far gone
You showed me me

The Pain

When will the pain stop
What did I do to make you hurt me
What did I do to make you so angry
Maybe my love is not enough
When will the pain stop
Its getting hard to hide the cuts and bruises
Soon the mask with the smile on won't be enough to pretend everything is ok
Tears flowing depression taking over
Should I just end it all would that make the pain stop
I was scared alone and confused the pain was to much to bare
When will it stop maybe this is what I deserved
Weak tired and beaten but pretending everything is ok but on the inside in slowly dying
When all I long for is your gentle touch
When will the pain stop
