Old New Age

What’s it all about?
Is it time for a Revolution?

Old Fashioned – New Trend

Old Hat – New Technology

Old Man – New Man

Old Woman – New Woman

Old Age – New Age

Old Year – New Year

is it a new beginning
or a time for Resolution!

Its Too Late To Be Writing Poetry

I’m tired and I just can’t stop yawning
It’s stupid o’clock in the bloody morning

We will just have to wait and see
If it’s too late to be writing poetry?

I really need some divine intervention
perhaps an elixir of lyrical inspiration

I drifted and snoozed and finally slumped
and only woke when my head got bumped!

Perhaps a surgeon would do instead
To remove this keyboard from my head

Words

If words were music
I could be a Grand Master
A Concert Pianist
A member of an orchestra
A Cello-ist
A Triangle-ist
A Percussion-ist
Waiting
To insert
A clash of syllables
