A Girl Named Allie

Allie

I check her form, I even warn myself,
hypnotic are the motions of her hips,
as she moves smooth through the building,
she is the foundation on which I want to build,
a life of sexy conversation,
can’t keep my mind, my eyes,
my hands, my lips, my thoughts off of her,
at night in my bed I dream of asking how she would feel about a question,
what if someone told you that your image flooded every dark corner of the room, I am afraid to sleep,
because of fear that I will lose the image that is my grown man night light,
I almost need to sleep with a bag of ice to cool the nuclear heat produced by the chimera that is you,
we both act shy and unsure,
but leave an awkward encounter with wanting for another.

Just Mad

JUST MAD!

I AWOKE THIS MORNING, JUST MAD!
WENT TO MY APPOINTMENT, JUST MAD!
I HAD TO GET UP AT 6:30 AM TO CATCH THE BUS AT 7:30 AM TO GET 4 MILES AWAY BY 9:00 AM, JUST MAD!
SAT THERE FOR 2 HOURS THINKING WHY AM I HERE? JUST MAD!
FINALLY FINISHED, THAT 2 HOURS WENT SLOW, STILL MAD!
WENT TO THE BANK WITHDREW MY LAST $6.00, MAD AS HELL!
CAN’T TAKE A BREAK, STRAIGHT TO WORK, JUST MAD!
PEOPLE SEE, TRY AND CHEER ME UP, THEY SAY SMILE, CAN’T STAY MAD!
I CATCH A GLIMSE OF HER FROM THE CORNER OF MY EYE,
NO LONGER MAD!

Chocolate Sun

CHOCOLATE SUN!

It always starts with a question,
would I be out of line if I told you that I thought about you all night long,
last night, the night before and probably tonight
and a few after that
how can the future be so certain that I know that you will be on my mind, because there is a passion that has yet to be satisfied,
you play hard to get or am I just missing the signal,
or could the truth be that I am afraid of you,
passion strong, passion long, passion forever, it seems,
until the day ends and we go our separate ways only hoping for tomorrow,
so I can see my chocolate sun again rise along with the promise of a new day and a new chance to make sense of something that is not meant to be,
but exist, it cannot be ignored, but is, and at the moment when our eyes meet with cool silence, I am calm, I am excited, I am alive.

Hmmmm

HMMMM!

I WOULD LIKE TO BITE YOUR NECK,
NOT HARD SO IT WILL HURT,
BUT GENTLE AND FIRM SO YOU REALLY FEEL THE PRESSURE,
BOTH SIDES AND THEN THE MIDDLE,
I WOULD LIKE MY TONGUE TO FEEL YOUR THROAT MOVE AS YOU SWALLOW,
I FEEL YOUR HEART BEAT FASTER,
THE BEAT IS STEADY AND STRONG,
SEXY IS THE SOUND WHEN MY LIPPS GO BELOW THE NECK LINE,
THE SMELL OF WOMAN IS SWEET TO ME, PLEASING,
I GET A BUZZ, “I GOT A NEW DRUG”,
BUT THIS TIME I DON’T WANT TO BE CURED OF THIS ADDICTION,
THERE IS NO REHAB CENTER OR THERAPY THAT EXIST THAT COULD EASE THIS PAIN THAT FEELS SO GOOD!

Know

KNOW

Denial is a blindfold, it helps you cope
with the truth,
if only I could get over this wall,
I could see it, the bright shiny penny on heads
pick it up it's good luck,
what's one penny? well put them together
with others and they make a whole
that is what the truth is
a completion, an ending, a beginning
a wall that has fallen, no more climbing
to find the truth, walk steady in it's path
no more blindfold, no more denial, no more sadness
no more hidden agenda
no more drama, k.n.o.w.

Were U the One

Were U the One!

Were U the one in my second grade class?
Were U the one, prettiest little girl on the church ground?
Were U the one that I worked alongside?
Were U the one behind me in the checkout line?
Were U the one that I made a fool of myself over?
I would ask myself that question from time to time,
but let my quest for the answer go,
it seemed there was no answer for something so simple,
I have become too content with not knowing and once I called myself a fighter, but I am losing the battle, although deep in my heart it still seems to matter, there is no dream that will suffice,
there is no fantasy that will do,
there is only reality and that reality is U!

Trying To

TRYING TO!

Trying to take what’s mine, trying to take my shine, trying to steal my light, trying to take my sight, trying to keep me blind, fill my ears, my mind with lies and hatred, trying to poison me against myself, try to fill me with doubt, leave me alone I beg! But I think that is the coward’s way, a strong man would say tell me more of what you plan to try.

Hint

Hint!

I HEARD A CHILD GIVE HIS MOTHER AN ORDER TO DO SOMETHING, HIS MOMMA SNAPPED BACK AND SAID YOU DON’T GIVE THE ORDERS AND HE REPLIED “I WAS NOT TELLING YOU WHAT TO DO! I WAS JUST GIVING YOU A HINT!”
