Freedom Fighters

We are the freedom fighters, fighting for survival
Hopefully the next generation follow the same road in their arrival
I wanna make a list of the real ones
Certified legends the true dons
Nelson Mandela led the struggle against apartheid and became president
Heritage of a small village, that’d part of our resident
Marcus Garvey, leader of the Pan-African movement
Wanted us to go back to Africa for improvement
Malcolm X was a warrior in the fight against racism
But people feel he was some type of convict because he went to prison
Martin Luther King brought equal and civil rights for his brothers and sisters
Walked 54 miles for freedom, must have had blisters
Che Guevara was part of the Cuban revolution
To sought out the madness Guerrilla warfare solution
Muhammad Ali, the greatest boxer to step in the ring
Was against war, that’s why I call him king
Fellow freedom fighters, fight for your freedom.

Jamaica

Little Island of Jamaica, birth place of Reggae
Always jolly, on a sunny day
Rastafari is the place where it all started
1948 on the Empire Wind rush most departed
Ackee & salt fish is the national dish
I love walking on the beach eating bread and fish
We’ve shown the world about the rough treatments we’ve been through
Half of the people have no idea or a clue
We’ve praised to everyone on Africa
Give thanks for the great land of Ethiopia
Music legacy from Bob Marley and peter tosh
Babylon way’s try to make us brainwash
Peace & Love to the wonderful place of Jamaica
Live humble and don’t be a troublemaker
Jamaica land we love!

Mad

Bun the feds dem coming str8 from the lava ground
A young brother moving mad cause I brown
I hate the police force their all full if pricks
They had the audacity to call the authorities
Bun that dough cause I ant for one
For a place full of pig’s wit a badge & gun
To be kill you know or dash in jail
It’s definitely on sight if I catch him in the cell
Moving wit jaff cause I so certified
Wit a ankh around my neck I feel qualified
Searching my yard looking for the herbs
Try to live peacefully but always disturb
You’d love to see me receive 10
Than the cert poet from the hood talking the truth again
Fling the rotten speaker’s outta the estate
And when I finish draw for the blue & white tape
To tape of the scene of the slaughter
Still moving g’d from yam and water
I defo know that their fish indeed
Pat a brother down and grabbing my seed
And on the other hand without a 9 they can’t hurt none
But I promise if your black it ant really fun
KKK will string man str8 to the tree top
Black boydem bull licking the white fed
Yoo Jaff will create a storm
On any idiot in a black uniform
Cause I from Hackney see
Nuff boydem are shook of me
A young rebel on a warpath
And when I finish (they claim) it’s gonna end in a bloodbath
Of jakes moving outta east way, I told you already I’ve been real from day
Inspired by N.W.A. F*** The Police

Real

I’m real, I keep it real
I don’t sugar coat nothing, I keep it real
Conscious Rasta up in here, you know the deal
Keep it real, or keep it moving
Making real lyrics, as I need improving
Selassie I kept it real
Made Ethiopia solid like iron steel
People say they have a tight circle
But me I have a triangle
If you’re lucky a square, 4-man team
Certified dreams, wanna get the cream
Be careful a lot of people out here trying to scheme
If I was born in the 60’s, I would have rolled with the black panthers
Humble servants in their communities, would have showed me the right answers
When you’re at the bottom of volcano, they see you burn
But when you’re at the top of the mountain, then the tables turn
They don’t want to see a Rasta trod and prosper
But I’m a conquer like the lion of Judah
They don’t like me because I tell the truth
My poetry is so conscious, I want to uplift the youths
I’ve always been real and that’s a fact
I can’t be fake; I feel that’s an act
So keep it simple, be honest and keep it real
Yeah yeah that’s the real deal.

Brothers and Sisters Kings and Queens

I hate the N word and the B word
Black people screaming it out, their mind must be blurred
We are the rightful kings and queens the chosen ones
Stop killing each other put down your guns
Our bloodline is rich with melanin roots
Rep Black and white like a pair of converse boots
Rich in culture, Pharaohs, royalty and Inventors
Strong like a Lion, rise up my people you shall enter
Teach the youths about their history
Seen as where the winners, we will claim our victory
Look after the prince’s and princess
Trod forward, not backwards like the back of an index
Love yourself my brother and sister, Love yourself

Ghettos and Garrisons

Ghetto people, where ghetto people
North, south, east and west, its ghetto
Ghetto’s and garrisons, we have to live with it
From the cold hearted streets, you got to deal with it
Born and raised in the east side of that London
Hackney to be preside, try and get a job most likely made redundant
Remember 011 when the riots happened
I think that’s only time everyone came together as friends
A brother named Mark Duggan had a gun which was a lie
Shot 2 times in cold blood, left to die
I don’t understand why he was killed in the streets
When a police officer could kill any brother who is black as me
To most people the ghetto is their reality
I’m from the hood were hustling makes up your salary
People say I wonder if heaven has a ghetto
But we have hell on earth, I just try to stay mellow
Ghetto’s, garrisons, hoods and projects
Everyone dreaming of having a million pound or dollar checks
I know sometimes life isn’t fair
But to be honest, it’s like that everywhere
There is always a light a light at the end of the tunnel when you get there
As Tupac Shakur said, even though you’re fed up
You gotta keep your head up
So don’t give up my people
Let’s go beyond greatness, 1,2,3,4 like a sequel

Motivational

Motivate myself to be motivational
Love to travel the world, so inspirational
Respect to the people who’s made it out of the hood
People think I’m crazy, just want to see everyone live good
I hope one day all these artists make real conscious music
Stop talking foolishness, make your lyrics exclusive
Most out here tryna find employment, look a work
They don’t wanna give us nothing, some go berserk
They have the audacity to say we don’t wanna earn a living
I’ve had enough of their lies, sometimes I feel they can’t be forgiving
I say to myself, I’d love to go back to the days when we played as kids
Summer time, stayed out all day and night before we went back to the crib
Before we got portrayed as gangsters and convicts by the pigs
Sometimes the life we live I feel depressed
But I try not to worry, don’t get stressed
Motivational that’s my motive
I want my poetry to get noticed and quoted.

Sweetness

Sweet sweet girl, sweet sweet lady
I love the women them, soon have my baby
Women are mothers of creation
All over the world and every nation
Without them life can’t go forward
Cherish your Empress and prosper onwards
Respect and love your sweetheart
We met at the finish lane, but first at the start
A real man looks after his queen
Come correct, move fresh and clean
So don’t be bitterness
If you have yourself a sweetness

Caught Up

Don’t get caught up with the madness
Stay anti, so you don’t have to deal with sadness
Politicians make us victims of the system
Trick us to love them, that’s why I don’t hear them or listen
There always hating on our history
Buy a spray can and go decorate your history
If you’ve never shopped or brought anything with pennies, you don’t know about struggle
People think life’s a joke, until they get into trouble
Do what you gotta do, hustle and juggle
Don’t play with people’s lives like a pack of cards
Live on the str8 and narrow, don’t wanna end up behind bars
Brother’s out here will buy a belt which cost a bill
Knowing that they gotta pay the gas and light bill
Realizing that their broke, I’d rather pay £10 for one and have £90 in my pocket
Had enough money left to buy Air Forces, I’m thankful I coped It
All now I don’t know how people still brag and floss
I’d rather stay low key, bag up the success and be my own boss
Be careful what you sell, make sure it’s not your soul
Don’t get gassed by the lime light, have your spirit and stay in control
I’d rather have a ghetto romance with a humble hunny
Then pick up an upper class girl just for the money
I’m tryna find the best way to seize the day
Carpe diem, translate the ting to ease my pain.

Why

Why we, Why we, Why we
Why we, Why we, Why we
Why Is my Brothers & Sisters going through this struggle?
What have we done to deserve this madness
The system doesn’t like we
We follow what they tell we
I do what they say to me
But they make our lives a living hell
But I tell everyone, pray more and worry less
Give thanks for life Is so precious
We fight for equal rights
And justice for the people
Keep a smile on your face and be kind hearted
If we think about peace like we do with money this earth would be a beautiful place
So why, why do people have to be so cruel
Why, why are the children starving
Why, why are there so much wars
Why, why can’t we live in peace and harmony
Peace 2 the people
