Upon a Star

Twilight settles
this begins the night

A star shines
so brilliantly 
white

I make a wish
as she come
into view

for she is my girl
and love is so 
true

Wish I may 
with all my might

this one wish
comes true 
tonight

as me and my woman 
hold each other
so wonderfully tight

love is our happiness 
and great by far
so this is my wish
as we wish upon this star

act this way
since you wanted 
love you say 


How can I please you
when it's others
you tease

why do you forsake me
because of your past
when it is love
you've found at last

Never will it be another
that I would call my lover

now you must stop
before you break my heart
as love comes only once
so stop being so shady
