My Contst Pom

An artist rolls his brush full of vibrant color across a Canvas
A window to a distant world soon forms, a Catalog or Atlas.
A land of curious blooms, and candy floss
Odd bits of colorful stalk brim floating moss.
This land of flamboyant fun, and pinkish bananas.

One Man's Misfortune

It was if no one cared, no one except for a single child who longed to find her only relation.
The world was unforgivingly cold and frost bitten, just as was the form that lay in that lonely patch.
Slender slabs of ice spread in an almost unnatural manner, seeming to hold on an object that was long since removed.
A solemn face stood still upon the decrepit skull that was once a man.
A small bed of soil littered with the needles of pines was home to the one once labeled as missing.
The footsteps of another so evil no life dared to cover left a single trail of hope to bring justice to this forgotten corpse.
It was as if not one living being had truly tried to solve the mystery of the missing man of December 23rd.

With, Within, Without

There are many things to be Lost in this world of Change.

Some are Subtle, that are Easily replaced and Forgotten
A strand of Hair, A needle of Pine.
With

Some show Age, like a rites of Passage
A child’s Playfulness, A teen’s Moody emotions.
Within

Others are simply Lost, with no Hope of speedy Return
A strong bond of Trust, The life of a Friend.
Without.
