Corona Virus 3 Feet,6 Feet

Have you heard
Of the ravaging virus?
That equal leveller;
That conforms everyone to the same corner
Some say it is the disease of the rich;
Some say it is for the poor,
Just like John 10:10
Its aim is to kill,destroy and devour.

Please stay at home,
Stay three feet apart
I do not want you to live six feet beneath
I do not want you to be laced in white
I do not want you to meet your fate somewhere amongst the cloud above
I do not want your family to be in deep grief.

Wash your hands without ceasing
Wash your hands without counting;
If you must count,
Like the number of time Mantis prays.

Like Wildfire in harmattan
Corona is but a wildfire
Suffocating,
Cutting into lungs like
An empty heartbeats gores into arteries
The rush,the spread,the death
I do not want your chest to be heavy,
Please stay safe.

The Sun will soon smile
We will all live.

I'D Rather Have Jesus

I'd rather have Jesus
Than silver and gold
I'd rather be his,than have riches untold
.
I'd rather have Jesus,than houses or land
Yes i'd rather be led by his nail pierced hand
Than to be a king in a vast domain
.
I'd rather have Jesus than anything
This world affords today
I'd rather have Jesus than worldly applause
I'd rather have Jesus than worldwide fame
Yes i'd rather be truthful to his holy name.

Ode To Sister

Wiggle jiggle giggle
A country band your worth
My naira devalued;
I hired none
But accept my song;
My songs in word like lullaby
.
At night,when soul dies
When stream bubbles;
absent of unseen mind.
You stream like blood
Ode to you
.
To you,my unseen sister
Lurking in soul like ghost
Accept my signal,cometh ye now
In dark and lone, dwell in me
Like Tonto and the ranger
You are distal to Kemosabe
Ode to YOU.

Cry No More Son

The blood river will turn back white
Lilies will overcome river surface
Fish will make river their abode
The cloud will cry in love
Cry no more son
Stretch not your lacrymal son
Our days of joy is come

Our tale will make the book of history
Of our agony,though great will be late(dead)
Our pain,a flame buried in dark
Cry no more son,we have won
Our elegy is gone,Requiem vanished
Cry no more

The trumpet of our elephant will go loud;
Break ears,make world talk like a crooking frog
The leaves will speak of rain and fog
Cry no more son,a new song is come

Cry no more,your mates are come
The war is gone,the field is yours
Make river your ball,play in dark and hunt;
Kill,catch games of all sort
Cry no more son,we have won
Our days of pain are gone

Rape

The terror that flee at night
A devil that lurks in the mind
A call to the sales girl
 Destiny wasted
A step in the dark room
Dungeon of setbacks.
.
A dream of a Doctor
Tuned down to a wanderer
Shattered through your hunger
Hunger for lust,rave,bad desires
A lasting scene
.
Called a father to the assaulted;
Will strike no cause
Grip and firm like Aargh!
Held down in captive with your evil fang
Oh! You forgot,they have a right
.
Devil is the new serpent like in Eden
That caused the inhumanly act
In the cause of revenge,plea,cries roll down faces
Thou art guilty of your callous crime
.
That day;you forgot
 dirt on the sparkling edge of a plate
It departed eyes,mind and soul is involved
It is a wound that cannot be nursed

I Am Coming Home

I am Coming home
Back to the path that i have passed
For no single being;Magical or Natural;
Knows the blister in my heart
I am Coming home
To tell the world of my Feat

Joy and Smile stole my face as I depart
The road blew warm cross my path
The tree swayed forth and back
Sweet tone fill my hearing from the parrot
A great joy I left home

My smile quenched with pain
I was pregnant for sorrow
Crumbled bones made a'la carte
I lost hope against the Morrow
I strive in a pit land
My hand dip (deep) in my pocket born Cane;
Cane of sugar stolen while being fed by the farmer's cane

I am Coming home
Let the rain wash away
All the pains of yesterday
I am Coming home
The pasture here has made the colour of the sky
I am coming home, with hope of a better life

The Girl Who Died From Rape

Lullabies are for babies
too hard to understand by an adult
so let me write a  song in story
of a girl
who has a little too much to understand..

And those little minutes felt like forever,like it's perpetuity
Ripping away all sense of normality

like the last crumbs of an exploded sack
she slept on withered leaf
sucking on the bones of her rotting body
holding back panicked cycles of breaths
like little kids hold back precious toys
sinister smiling eyes
Vengeful tears
Sempiternal and perdurable Curses
Rushed through her lips

"You're so pretty.."
you're an ebony.
Your titties are firm...
seeds of trepidations sowed
in a daughter,
whose struggling Mother,
didn't know,
she couldn't go any farther
........
That day;
The devil forgot
dirt on the sparkling edge of a mouth watering dish
Devil is the new serpent like in Eden
That caused the inhumanly act
Though cleansed,mind and soul is involved

............
and many years later
her sheets are still marinated
trembling with the sound of her own silence voice
Breaking
Cleaving
Thinking
Concluding
.........................
There is grieving
Labara is dead

Paradoxes

What Now?
Isn’t This Hell For A Believer?
Isn’t This Nakedness For The Textile Owner?
Isn’t This Fruits For The Promiscous Bride?
This Is Barreness For The Virgin Bride

So What?
Is This Not The Tale Of A Caged Potential?
Isn’t This The Tale Of The Abbatoir Owner;
Diagnosed With Kwashiorkor
Isn’t This Some Juxtaposition
This Is Affluence From A Church Rat

What Can Your God Do?
Isn’t This The Tale Of A Cat On It’s Back?
This Is The Tale Of That Fellowship Brother
That Counsellor;
That Sin Counsels Itself

Isn’t This You?
Isn’t This Hypocritical?
Should I Be Writing This To You,or Myself?
Isn’t This Samson?

Solitude

The one you forgot kept remembering you
You kept living on
And he kept dying for you
When he heard you moan in pain
He came to your rescue;
Leaving everything behind.
With happiness in your path
He is with you at every turn
Leaving everything behind

The one you forgot kept remembering you
Each of his moment passed worrying;
About you
The world was with you while he was all alone
The tears that were;
With happiness in your path
Those we never met
Those we never got the chance to meet
But house a quarter for in our heart.

To Solitude,Sorrow
To lone and path like fork shape
To tears,thoughtful thoughts
Sarva me,Sarvabo te
Amantium iræ amoris redintegratio est.

Trust

Swarm of butterflies in my belly
I thought I was the Adam
And she was the Eve
But it all ended with the Apple
On the tree
My soul was deceived
She could not hurt a fly
She flee in Cockroach sight
How she got me to lie;
To lie I have an heart,for her
Lurking in somewhere;
It was but a Nightmare
Flee at Cockroach sight
Turned hero at cheater's bed
Four feet was all I saw,it was cold
Under my rainbow blanket, though old
My jaw agape in awe,you hurt me
You couldn't kill a fly, but you just murdered TRUST
