walks my hand
falls the tree
of your orgasm

Brian Grieve Poem
Hiding a life to attain
The quieting of my broken bones
Through my mandelbrot eyes
What is Lost
Is now found
Fibonacci looks at me
My heart rebel against
The recursive mirror of vanity

Brian Grieve Poem
I see you placed on a shelf
My protagonist
Inky smudge on my heart
Your paragraphs carved
We have laughed and loved
Through chapters lived
Story cast and relished
My parchment of hope
Perched higher than the others
Friend of mine bound by leather
Your pages have shaped me
Creased and wrinkled
Blemished stained page
I do cry alone
Farewell my story
For our chapter has ended

Brian Grieve Poem
Mother of mine
Of muted eyes
Hello, it’s me
I miss you
Blanket of malady
Dims your light
Night, fright
Who are you?
Reminisce a thought
I am your beacon
Recall, evoke
Where are you?
Echo my name
I am your son
Birth, death
I love you

Cup of life
Drink me in
Twinkle louder
Forevermore

Brian Grieve Poem
She danced upon my sleepy knife-edge
Rem sleep concealed; my hollow tin ledge
Was the naked girl who stole my show
Labanotation echoed her tarred shamed knees
Free falling from grace, cumulating fees
Have every my gutter pushed so low?
Integument tally, a dollar per pound
Rumoured lies within; no truth found
Flesh voucher paid in Bordeaux
So I flickered in though
Scar tissue hand did plough
My poured soda fountain flow

Brian Grieve Poem
vivid is the reflection
of my self-infection
dusted and crusted
pathetic and rusted
sole and heart
we are now apart
forever, never
more

Brian Grieve Poem
Good and evil
Old friend of mine your present again
Mirror of my prime
Ever present your whispers are louder
Friend and foe of mine
Red and white on shoulders they stand
Bells in hand do chime
Outlined shadow of moonlit announcements
Bends the clock of time

Brian Grieve Poem
I sit quietly.
Alone and content,
Under your eyes
Composed and still,
A whisper is caught,
love and sadness pour out.
Flowing into your fleshy wrinkles.
I will knock on doors of change
What have I learnt ?
What have I given ?
Everything yet nothing,
Infant and ancient,
I am
a teardrop
