From Brokenness To Brokenness

I am a broken man,
Life's terrain ain't fair to this man,
For serenity I yearn,
As I struggle to live and earn.

I am a broken man,
Struggles been with me to learn,
I make a lot of mistakes,
And I have lost many stakes.

I am a broken man,
I am conflicted human,
I have bottled a lot of treasure,
All in the search of worldly pleasure.

Brokenness has been my portion,
As I lose all the jubilation,
That's comes with celebration,
Culminating marriage bliss in the station.

Brokenness is my tag,
I carry it along with honour,
As in the case of a war of tug,
It has been my major misdemeanor.

I am profusely broken,
My choices are all broken,
I leave everyone else broken,
It is a case of all Brokenness.

Near me, do not come,
I am far from being handsome,
And I will make our relation troublesome,
I am broken, and I will give you some.

They say a stitch in time saves nine,
Mine has been bleeding since nine,
I am not able to keep anything feminine,
As I always carry this tag of mine.

I am wallowing from brokenness to brokenness,
I am the epitome of numbness,
When it comes to those who are heartless,
I got broken from time to timeless.

My story is now out here,
I embody everything you hear,
Because brokenness leads to fear,
And I never wanna live in fear.

My Beautiful Angel

Your heart is the most adored in my life
Your heart’s filled with unconditional love
To trifle with it hurts, causes me great strife
Because it fills me with cheer my angel dove
The light in my life when there is no sun
Beloved you are my strength when am weak
My sweetest love with you the search is done
And in your full arms I can never freak
May heaven above send you your wishes
And bless you amply like women of old.
And guard you till the day I have you miss
As my love for you is as pure as gold

Amidst challenges that comes we’ll not panic
Joined we will be more than the Titanic

I Choose Violence

Yes, I choose violence,
I chose to make chaos with my words,
I choose to use this weapon to fight my battles,
I choose this because it is the language oppressors understand.

I chose violence,
I do not mean to be physically aggressive,
And I do not mean to cause physical harm,
But I will be violent in how I register dissatisfaction,
Violence is the only available and viable option.

I choose violence,
I will ruthlessly delivery on my roles,
I will work to ensure that I leave no stone unturned,
I will exceed expectations,
This form of violence will exonerate me on my resting place.

I choose violence,
I will vote that violent man you know of,
Democracy and economic freedom are foreign constructs in our motherland,
At least the men around this delusional man are faking it right,
I choose violence.

I choose violence,
It is the only way my voice will be hard,
I am a proponent of silent revolution,
My body will stay intact my voice shall be loud enough,
The option is violence or violence.

I chose violence,
I will be ruthless in my character,
I will exercise restraint,
And maintain a character of heaven,
After all, violence is a language in heaven,
Didn't we read that the Kingdom of heaven suffereth violence?
And that the violent take it by force.

I choose violence!

Auma

Auma,
Auma you know you're dear to many,
Auma you are intriguing,
Auma you are a gem.

Auma you didn't rich this far to reach this far,
Auma roll up your sleeves,
Auma the work needs to be done.

Auma let no laziness consume thee,
Like the lazy Kimani of the old,
Auma I know it's tough, but you can do it Auma.

Auma many are looking up to you,
Auma yoo! Stride like a Queen bee,
You hold the peace of many.

Auma we want to see you progress,
Auma we want to see you morph into a career woman, good mother, and an excellent wife,
Auma yours is a path that must be taken.

Auma the world is yours for the taking,
Auma look up up up!
Auma yoo!
Auma yoo!

The Seasons of Life

The Seasons of Life

The paths to greatness are never straight,
The paths to greatness can never be deduced,
The paths to greatness can never follow logic,
The paths to greatness are murky, dwindling, confusing, and thrilling.

The seasons of life are appointed beforehand,
The seasons of life experience upheavals,
The seasons of life are occasioned with tranquility,
The seasons of life require grace to unravel.

We sure know that life is engulfed with emotional rollercoaster,
One time you're on top of the world,
Next you're rock bottom,
It needs grace to keep us hoping, believing, and doing all that we can.

You will be happy,
You will be sad,
You will live in abundance,
You will miss a meal at times.

Your family will be okay,
Your family will experience turmoil,
Your life will be in order,
Your life will be in chaos.

These are the seasons of life,
The unsettling will happen,
Then you will be okay,
Thereto you will survive, thrive, and keep eternal hope.

We Will Remember

We will remember the days,
When the sun shined on our ways,
When we our living was in the pathways,
Of righteousness like the old days.

We will remember rains,
When it rained joys and grace,
That our hearts unlocked from the chains,
Of misery, and ours was to win the race.

We will remember the conversations,
That we had in all the stations,
That life's journey brought before us,
To life that was dedicated to alone Jesus.

We will remember the heartaches,
Which we experienced when we gave our hearts out,
That love bequeathed it stakes,
In our hearts throughout.

We will remember the lessons,
That we learnt the hard ways,
When our mistakes were legions,
Of broken dreams and rugged pathways.

We will remember all,
The friends that stick through all the fall,
That beget our journey home,
Because we all long to arrive home.

Though we are to forgive and forget,
We will carry the good memories with us,
To places we will never regret,
Because we will remember us!
