Novel Traverses

She came in, alright
In the still void of the night;
A stillness only raped by the resonance of her loosely fluttering nightie
Mercilessly thrashed by the whistling wind; wintry as it wafts on lightly,
Transmuting the skin sallow
Yet, she came in …Poised, but fallow;
Graceful but uncultivated, like two contrasting auras
Forged into that one chief essence that wriggles the finest floras
Into a verdantly scented existence;
That which enriches mankind’s olfactory empiricism. Hence,
Has my soul been charmed, and shall be spoiled for days.
An anomaly, not for my regal ways-

An imperial blood craving eternal confluence with turbid waters;
I’m a Prince in love with one of the peasant farmer’s daughters.

An unfitting art crafted by Gaea…
But like my soul itched for, she came in…
Elegantly writhing her way to share with me under my bedding
And we danced the night away, aired with Sayer.

Knowings of My Sagely Soul

"This strife shall continually overflow this cup,"

To my inquisitive spirit my sagely soul told,

"Until with growing old

Comes growing up."

A Treat By the Heavens

And for this, shall my soul find solace
Every time my eyes behold the sky- that majestically hollow place.
I'll take in the effulgence of the moon;
As swell icing on a cake, shall I indulge this boon.

And these stars...
From deep within with ambrosial luster have they concealed my scars.
Now shall my heart cry "Shalom! Shalom!"
For my soul has savoured and known divine pulchritude. Shalom!

And my troubles shall be rolled away (in the morn)-
With the clouds, as a new man shall be born.
Indeed, my lectus regium- the soothing bedding of the heavens
Which you provided for my rest of days and nights in sevens.

To the ends of the worlds and beyond shall my words run
Bearing news that all these have I been served by the sun.
