No

Don't be ruthless in communication be it written or verbal, teacher told, never say 'no' as wise people have told. Feel the impact in brain with negation. A 'No' word releases dozens of stress producing chemicals in brain forthwith interrupt normal brain functioning with impairing logic, reason; complete mess. Yet, we fail to control ‘No’ word, knowing its curse in brain function; negatively thinking puts in worst state definitely then with anger forces for misdoing. When one decides to think positively, can turn their lives around competently. ~X~X~X~

Am I Not

Have you seen ghosts? Oh! yes so many times; Is it? What they do? Nothing special, just behave as you do. Did you feel cold in their presence? Why should I feel cold? Never! No, accept them as your friend; OMG! Ghost as friend! Why not? Am I not your friend? That’s true, but you are not.. Who told you? Have you ever seen my shadow? Thud …… ~X~X~X~

I Envy :: Blues Stanza

Mom will never understand, why I don't want to go to school, there's no charm; they don't allow dog, forces me to be alone. I envy you, none tells you to attend school; for me Mom is strict I've to attend they put me in bus without my consent. Don't you feel, school time is a total waste So many tasks to do, my time they waste Remember how those squirrels we had chased. Do you think, a face to face talk will stop them to send me to school; think how to stop; You know that frog is in box on desktop. Even other day teacher called Mom to tell frog in my bag croaked twice; what's need to tell? How I know, frog croaks in daylight as well?

Good Bye :: Triquain Crown

Don’t ever say to someone ‘Good bye’; It indicates leaving, departure ….. that means a separation from someone too dear; ‘Good bye’ implies that you will never see them again, it pains to be far. Going far…… It means chance to forget; remaining out of sight for long may turn to be to stay out of mind and forgetting; But, whom we love how can we leave them by just bidding good bye forever. We love our near and dear ones, somehow need them in lives, without their presence feel life is somewhat dark though we know well someday they'll leave forever, won't return to be with us once more yet resist. We've feelings wish more care to loved one; Their presence makes us emotional; We cry, when they leave, don't want them to be away and wish them to stay with us more time; May be for a lifetime; Scream, don't go. When I lost my parents, knew too well they won't be back to me, yet failed to say them good bye; felt they've left me to be lonely; A chapter of my life is over; I've to solely face the cruel world. ~X~X~X~

Why I Cried :: Asean Royal Flush Sonnet

Told you never run fast, be at my side while stroll; Now, let's go and sit near lakeside. You know school is boring; in class I cried; Nothing to learn there. Don't have friends, they lied always talk in their mother tongue, they snide. Saw in dream, they're punished with a rope tied. I'll ask Mom, if she can come, sit inside class with me; feel alone-That's why I cried. Yet, you see, I've to go; thinking to hide tomorrow, next day and finally I'd stop going school; you know, I can confide I want to be like you, free none to guide. Dad doesn't know through dog door freely I glide; Yes, tomorrow through it I'll go to hide.

Saga of 'Until'

Can you say, why I’ve been deprived, asked ‘Until’. What’s the reason of putting only one ‘L’ in Until. Ask your heart, can you give me a satisfactory reply? Don’t feel sad, know it really pinches to lose status; You may be aware short words are generally more likely to have homographs than long ones. Tell me, does it make sense, inquired ‘Until’; Don’t you know both words ‘Till’ and ‘Until’ came from completely different sources. Very true, in fact don’t have clear answer; Both these words came to mean the same thing; Yes, really wonder why spelled differently. See, now you can observe partiality in dealing, depriving my legitimate right of double ‘L’, trying hard to show me equal to ‘Till’; It’s an insult. Very well understand your feeling, you know in historical writing where it spelled 'Untill' but this spelling is deemed incorrect now. Now, you have come to the point, understood why I felt deprived and insulted; tell me how it's decided to declare it incorrect spelling. Agree, but you’ll be happy to know ‘Until’ is usually perceived as slightly more formal than ‘Till’; though the word ‘Till ‘is the older of the two words, by several hundred years. ~X~X~X~

What's Forgotten :: Philippine Sonnet

Sadly gloomy news fill one with dismay; still old habit is hard to change and they continue to read newspaper each day. Thinking why negative news made their way. Throughout the world many good things happen but those don't get honor to be caption; such works get backseat how could this happen; news don't add value, makes readers sadden; What's forgotten negative news someway affect readers' mental health; each day bad things happen that doesn't mean anyway life is getting worse; surely one can't say. To reduce the negative effects, worse thoughts, one should limit consumption at source. ~X~X~X~

Business :: Petrarchan Sonnet

How coolly expressed inability to continue our business relation; simple reason to avoid frustration at latter day feeling futility; Now you're questioning my ability to stay as your partner; accusation route adopted by you for negation. Forcing to doubt your credibility. But, still you're dealing in a selfish way giving least importance to business need; Being carried away with too much greed, Restrain yourself, don't fall in their trap, they will speak all good words to hide their misdeed. Never expected I've to face this day. ~X~

Spiritual Poverty

Rejection of worldly goods has been seen as means for spiritual growth, to lead a life in balance with HIS will, to wean every material thing with no greed. It's said, the poverty of spirit freed one to empty of self so that HE can fill with life and love. Prayers to HIM lead to grow each one of us in our life span. Spiritual poverty frees one man from anxiety about future. But we shouldn't forget the fact, worldly "things" can not make us rich to HIM, one can't rebut. True satisfaction comes from HIM; Increase in one's worth can't bring lasting inner peace. ~X~X~X~
The Spenserian Sonnet was named for Edmund Spenser 1552-1599, a 16th century English Poet. Beyond the prerequisite for all sonnets, the elements of the Spenserian Sonnet are: -A quatorzain made up of 3 Sicilian quatrains (4 lines alternating rhyme) and ending in a rhyming couplet -Metric, primarily iambic pentameter. -Rhymed, rhyme scheme ababbcbccdcdee. -Composed with a volta (a non physical gap) or pivot (a shifting or tilting of the main line of thought) sometime after the 2nd quatrain. The epiphany is arrived at logically. -Written with each quatrain developing a metaphor, conflict, idea or question, and the end declamatory couplet providing the resolution.
