Ananya Mohit Poem
Save the glory,save the pride,
Save India 's Tigers, save the indigenous wild.
Save the unearthly beauty, save the exquisite roar.
Save the Royals by the Sunderbans' shore.
Save those vibrant deep eyes which have seen it all,
From the Zebra, the Giraffe to the Monkey who had the greatest fall.
Save the paws which have pounced so hard,
On the Cheetah, the Bear, all smashed like cards.
Save the stripped skin that glittered in the Sun,
Save it from being perforated by the deadly gun.
Save Your Majesty as he pleads for forgiveness,
For crimes that were not his business.
Save the emperor of the Jungle,
The law of nature - let us not bungle.
From 'endangered' to 'extinct' - it won't take much time,
All that would be left then would be a few
activists' cries and whines.
Save the mankind from this great fall!
Ponder, whether your entertainment is worth it all?

Ananya Mohit Poem
You see me every now and then,
I am the hill, the squirrel and as many say, heaven.
I am the clouds, the flowers and the bees,
I am everything you hear and see.
I am the sky above you,
I shall always continue.
I am your creator,
The immortal nature.
I am eternal,
And very much influential .
I am essential,
As well as inspirational .
And you have to agree,
That you can't imagine your life without me.
I am your creator,
The immortal nature.
As a child is born, I smile,
With every single death, i cry.
I see you grow and cherish,
Into an angelic and sometimes devilish.
You live in me and die in me,
Only to meet the ultimate being.
I am your creator,
The immortal nature.

Ananya Mohit Poem
I sat there
Wondering
What was right
Thinking
What was wrong
Pondering
Its worth
Speculating about
Whether I should do it
Contemplating
"Is it worth it all?"
I asked myself
Although knowing the answer.
Said everyone loudly around me
" It's your call to make "
Though they silently said
"Do it"
I had never thought
"It would end like this"
The mind had said
"It's your only choice"
Had said the heart
"Please don't do it"
Have regrets, I don't care
Yes I shall
Pull the plug
I did not
Wait
I did not sit there
To see the ramification of my action.
When read upside down :
To see the ramifications of my action
I did not sit there
Wait
I did not
Pull the plug
Yes I shall
And so on....

Ananya Mohit Poem
People are overly curious,
I wonder, what good it does?
They keep asking you questions,
And it irritates me so much!
And keep on poking their nose.
They are so interested,
In matters that don’t concern them,
If only they had performed their duties,
How successful would they have been then!
They won’t let you do your work,
With their questions of “what, when and why”,
They want to know all the gossip,
Beware! Don’t tell them any secrets,
Or otherwise,
You would be the one to have all regrets.
They want you to become like them,
‘Cause whatever be the question,
Gossiping is their only intention.
Stay away from such creatures,
Good for nothing people!
‘Cause they are the ones,
Who make a mockery of others,
The first to complaint,
And the first to blame.
They are the ones who fail,
They see the ocean,
Of opportunities in front of you,
And won’t let you sail.
Always curious about others,
And a failure themselves.
Oh my friend!
Such people have always been there and will always be,
But determined people still such succeed.
Don’t become the part of crowd, my friend!
You will know it,
When you become like them,
Having irrelevant queries,
Interested in someone else’s life.
Or it will be your journey’s end.
