Joseph Adebanjo Poem
FAITH NOT TO BE SOLD
Joseph O. Adebanjo
I have seen pain, kissed pain, lived with pain, overcame pain
Deep in my oceans of pain, existed bliss, and coexisted the Son
I saw the spasmodic ray of hope
Flickering touch of faith upheld me
I swam in my cryptic ocean of pain
Basking in its flow into the ground of faith
Faith lifted me, faith re-birthed me, gave me a new name
Claiming my name in the flaming fame
Yet standing out in the blazing flame
Hopeful faith brought me this far
Faith the passion that conquers pain the net that brought me out of it oceans
Faith not be sold
Faith to which I hold
For it is dearer than the fairest cherub

Joseph Adebanjo Poem
Jesus' blood never fails me at all
The precious crimson tide flows for all
Epitome of power
All sins overpowered
Upon it proud, I stand, brave and tall

Joseph Adebanjo Poem
HEALTH FOR OUR WEALTH
Joseph O. Adebanjo
Lord unto thee we pray for a growing wealth
But dear Father to it add your ever glowing health
That we may enjoy our days upon the earth.
For what good is there of wealth without health
And what reward has a dead man beneath
The soil whose riches are stalked upon the earth?
Oh Lord unto thee we pray for a teeming wealth
But guide oh God as we walk this humming earth,
From evil, grieve and pain we need your sheath
For what is the use of wealth?
If we are frail or held up in the earth beneath?
Dear Father unto you we pray swarming wealth
But grant health to enjoy our blazing wealth
That another will not inherit our sweat
For what is use of great wealth?
When there is no health to rest in our sweat
Dear God we fret not, for health
Will you will grant unto us.
From for the debt of health
We will never be a guest
For after our sweat, we will have perfect rest.

THE GOLDEN APPLE
J. OLUSESAN ADEBANJO
09 JULY 2016
I WAS BORN, I GREW, I FLOURISHED, I SPROUTED
DESPITE THE DROUGHT, I BECAME STOUT
I BOOMED, I PROSPERED, I THRIVED, I BLOOMED
SATIN STEMMED AND OLIVE CAULINE LEAVES
STRONGER BY THE HOUR, YIELDING OUT FLOWERS
GROWING IN POWER, GROWING INTO A TOWER
I AM THE OLIVE STEMMED APPLE TREE
FROM THE BLUES, CAME THE WILD FIRE CAUSED BY THE NATURE
RAGING AND STORMY, BILLOWING AND FIERCE
EATING ALL IN ITS PATH, GULPING ALL IN ITS WAY
DANCING THROUGH A FRENZY PATTERN
DELIRIUM, DANGEROUSLY AROUND MY SATIN PETALS
FLARING, FLAMING, THINKING TO HAVE DESTROYED ME
NO WATERING, NO FOOD
I AM THE MOLTEN APPLE TREE,
FRESHNESS CAME, VITALITY FOLLOWED
I GREW, I FLOURISHED, I PROSPERED
MORE SOLID EVERY HOUR
GOLDEN STEMMED, BRIGHTLY BEAUTIFUL
FLOWERING EVERY HOUR
THE FIRE HAD ME MORE STUNNING
STRONGER AND BETTER, GOLDEN PETALS
I BLOOMED, I FLOWERED BY THE HOUR
LUSHLY AUREATE, GOLDEN BLOOM
I AM THE GOLDEN APPLE
ADORNMENT AND LOVE FROM THE WINDS
SHELTERS TO THE BIRDS OF THE AIR
ADMIRATION TO THE LADIES OF THE EARTH
LONGING FOR A BRIEF LUST HOPING IT LASTS AS FOREVER
DAMSELS AND CHICKS WANTS A TASTE OF ME
ADMIRERS, LADIES LINING TO SNEAK A FILL OF ME
GOLDEN DELICIOUS AND LUSCIOUSLY TASTEFUL
ALL SAVORING AFTER ME.
GOLDEN AND SEDUCTIVE WITH POWER
MORE STUNNING BY THE HOUR,
I AM THE GOLDEN MAN

Joseph Adebanjo Poem
Sun red is my love.
Fierce but gently as the dove
Flaring as a burning fire
Transparently pure yet not difficult to acquire
Sun red is my love
Brightly shinning above
Illuminating red, enlightening the sky
Beams of emotion emitting from my love pie.
Sun red is my love
Vast is the ocean thereof
Deeply refreshing, ever rejuvenating
Ever blissful, never grievous.
Sun red is my love
Gently caress it, for it is fierce
Drink and acquire it for blissful ecstasy
Let it irrigate you from deep within.
