Her Slashed Facade

She gazed into their eyes. The people she has loved all her life, blinded by a facade of people that surround everyone.

The girl she danced with to their favorite songs and held as she went through pain. The friends which whom she gossiped with from shitty teachers to teenage boys. The friends she had shown her true face to, beyond her mask.

Behind which remained a fragile girl whose heart ached so painfully she had once wished to end it. Yet once they knew she stilled remained alone. No, are you ok? No warm comforting hugs. No words of comfort given to her.

The things she had given these people when they needed it. When she fell apart they didn't seem to care. Too busy in their own worlds. So she kept talking about boys, they distracted her from herself. She kept singing along to the songs and her nails changed colors. But she was new, quiet, yet no one gave her a second glance.

And she awaited the day she could escape their oblivion. Their jabs she saved in memory. The invisible stabs that lay deep within. The bruises upon her lungs and the scabs upon her mind. The things that people gave to her and she kept. While she gave them the warmth they deserved and she was returned with icy winters and heartless smiles. The flawless facades of people everywhere.

Then she disappears. Without a trace. The people miss her for a while, they lost their warmth. Yet they move on, new facades of people to meet. New masks to try on, and new costumes to wear.

Awhile she bought bandages, stitches, and casts. Fixed herself right up to whom she was truly meant to be. The facade long gone along with bruises, scans, and stabs. Left behind was the naked personality of a girl once broken become anew.

When she return she visited all of them. She blew tornadoes upon them, and cried hurricanes. She stomped earthquakes, and shouted words so icy she caused blizzards. When the people tried to recover they asked her why she had become this way.

She merely said,

"If it weren't for me, you would become I."

To the Dark Eyed Beauty

Your eyes have
A gaze
That could reach
Into my soul

They can take
My heart
To their disposal
Or their keep

Your touch was familiar
And the first touch
That I've ever felt
Completely safe in

Your arm around me
Was like a shield
And I long
To be protected every second

Your smile
Had me hazy
When you laughed
I was overjoyed

I saw you upset
And you looked fragile
And I wanted to help
But I thought I couldn't

I saw you happy
And you looked beautiful
And I wanted to
Make you my own

And I saw you shine
And my heart
Was leaping
In sync with yours

So when my time
To try and reach you
Was up
I was devastated

Because I didn't try
Because you didn't try
But everyday I regret
That you aren't mine

When I Meet Color

In a world bleeding blue
I gradually become anew

In a world seeping of greens
Upon the ground I plant new seeds

In a world of vicious red
The old me I carelessly shred

In a world of dandelion yellow
The new me I make mellow

In a world of lavender purple
I will be strong for eternal

In a world of everyday grey
I hope to make it to the day

In a world of colorless people
I shall try to be peaceful

So maybe one day my world
Will become swirled

With colors evermore

Counting Till a Heartbreak

Day one of our first conversation
My mind in mentation
Of your flirtation
Your pupils in dilation

Day fifty your smile
Has my heart racing miles
You were beguile
I hope my number you dial

Day seventy two your blush
Made my heart rush
You spout sentimental mush
My heartbreaking crush

Day ninety nine my heart cries
My eyes set for the prize
To tell the words that make me die
No longer able to hide behind lies

Day one hundred my confession
My heart crushed like compression
Passing by his transgression
You not my possession

Day one hundred and ninety four
My heart still broke forevermore
My pieces I cannot restore
Forever stuck in love's war

I Treasure Our Small Talk

I grasp onto
Your every word
But I am afraid
You let mine go

A Violette Poem - Self Discovery

Self Discovery
A
Violette Poem

sometimes I remember
our time in September
that became an ember
Faint memories

it's unforgettable
not understandable
We aren't valuable
gone centuries

I gave you everything
my love was bellyaching
you don't give anything
wasted journeys

your love slipped from my hands
please stop violent chants
your downgrading commands
angry flurries

from sunny to aching
I am slowly breaking
stop your selfish taking
dark galleries

hopefully you'll soon go
and I can slowly grow
the old me will soon flow
discoveries

Leaving

I remember the sun kissing your skin
As we lay in grasses of evergreens
And I can't believe I ever imagined
You without me

Finally At Peace

I lay on the roof
Talking to the moon
As the wind threads
through my hair
And the cold wraps
Its arms around me
And the Stars dance
As I applaud their twinkle
And for once I believe
I can say that I am
Peaceful

Dark Vanquishes Light

soft cherry kisses send me into bliss
upon my frown lays your silk lips
a graze of a hand so soft i almost miss
i shouldve known you were my solar eclipse

Isn'T Love Simply, Divine

The sky blue velvet
And my dress red satin
Your kiss was splendid
Made me madden

Crystal green eyes
Darling grandmother pearls
Underneath painted skies
Hair flouncy twirls

Divine designer gowns
Prance about the room
On my head a crown
My arm accompanied a groom

A fairytale you shall always be
Equipped with lush memories
Diamonds that sparkle blue sea
A queen of love for centuries
