Smile

The smile you bring to my face
cannot be described in words.
The kind heart and gentleness that you show
sooths every feeling in my mind
finally making it peaceful.
Standing in the rain amongst dark morbid skies
and cold piercing raindrops
I can find you, with your enduring vivaciousness,
turning everything you see into everlasting beauty.
Each night when I am about to fall asleep,
I know that everything will always be all right
because I have that one special friend
who will be there the next morning
ready to make my day better than it ever could be.
