Don'T Judge Book By Its Cover

Let me start by saying looks can be deceiving
By the person that’s receiving
And transmitting the image to the brain to create a perfect picture
Judging before you look
Failing to see pass the skin deep within
Where her beauty lies therein
You not willing to go on a journey and discover the unwritten
Memories left behind in a safe
And you’re the combination to her heart
The flame before its start
The light before the dark
Emotions wrapped in life
Calling it immortal love from above
Your heart now complete
But you face defeat
Because you judged before you look
Deep in guilt for the wrong road you took
And that moment made you realize
That your decision was reversible
And karma says your next.

Taken

Crossing vast oceans
Sounds of unspoken language
Foreign to this land

Symmetrical Love

I want to complete you spiritually, mentally, and physically
I want to give you symmetrical Love
I want speak our languages and be bilingual
You are always on my mind like a number 1 single
We deep like physics going way pass infinity
We scientific bonding like covalent are you feeling me
I want to be with you forever and rise like the sun when you wake up
I want to be your hands when you pray up
We got a flame so strong even in the rain we stay lit up
You are my three leaf clover give me good luck
Our love hard to find like a needle in the haystack
Your music to my eyes like a photographic sound track
Your love like cancer consuming me whole
We got that balance on the scale weighing deep in the soul
Take a look inside the mirror tell me what do you see
I see the essences of an angel and the ora of a goddess
No other beauty real its make believe like the loch ness
Aiyana ,Aiyana my blossoming flower
I will love you until my last hour and even after death I can feel your
Vibe you control the ocean to my heart like the moon an the tide

Black Like Me

My ancestors from the motherland are
Black like me,
Chained in shackles
Let us free, but it still remains they were
Black like me,
Brought to a foreign land,
Working sun up sun down,
But they once wore gold crowns and they were,
Black like me
I feel the pain they feel because we are one
Our souls intertwined like the vines on the tree
But still remains they were
Black like me
Punished for the color of my skin
Because I’m black within
So I stand here proud to say
My ancestors were
Black like me
To the highest mountain
To the longest river
The world will always change
But one thing will remain
My ancestors from the motherland were
Black like me.

My Love Esrever (Reverse)

Much Love

Richard Q. Corbett

It’s my Love reverse

Can you see reverse

You can’t see our vision

Can you see my mission trap in an intermission

I can’t release my feelings that’s trap in a dungeon of Unforbidden Love

You can’t see my soul

In the summer its cold in the winter it’s hot

The rain goes up and the Trees grows down

My lips move father to kiss you

My eyes close shut just to see you

My beginnings at the end and my end becomes my present

My sun shines at night and it’s fluorescent

My moon rises in the morning watch me rotate

My feelings is on an axis of Love from above

Its my Love Reverse

L0ve Test

Did I pass your little test are you into me now
Can my lips touch yours in the midst of the crowd
I got love in my eyes when I see you in the crowd
Don’t reject me like a blood transfusion instead you listen for my reason in
chosen
I m feeling your vibe melody in your music
And I’m just a pair of eyes trying to groove with your music
I know you feeling me like lotion to skin
You feel the tingle in your heart and you starting to spark
I just want to get to know you don’t leave me in the dark
Can you be my parking lot and let me parallel park
Why don’t you tell me what you thinking see the smile on your face
Your pain I’m hoping to erase like a jury and case
I plead guilty in my Love put me up in the handcuffs
And I’ll take life if I get the right answer

Equality

I want to be free, cries deep with in my soul
The world so cold
I see no equality
Why do labels consume you, and
Hate is your friend as you as you grasp it
And it grooms you
Hispanic, Asian, cacajun and the black people
They should be equal
And be known as just people
Behold man kind just watch what he can do
He can separate, desecrate, discriminating on any race
He can look into the eyes of any face
And erase
I see no equality
Its bothers me
The worlds at end
Just wait until the father see

A Race Divided

One day in time as the times of sand falls in the hour glass
We were one
Until that day will come a
Race divided
Knowledge provided
But we stay full of defiance
Let us join back the alliance
Let us bring back our black liberty
And not become a
Race divided
The banner for rights
But instead we fight
And were keeping it true
A race divided
I am black and young
But I wish that one day
African Americans won’t be
A race divided

Black Flame

I am black flame releasing fire from my vocal cords
I hold death on the tip of my tongue
Yes I’m young
But my wisdom decipher these hieroglyphics of life
I change history with every breath given
So my life is self written by my god living
I show pain in my name because I’m criticized by many
But my mental is far more superior than plenty I’m not a follower it’s more of the
opposite
Melodic notes that I rain they contain
Knowledge for humanity
I anchor my feelings in the oceans of emotions
Watch the deepest of the motions
As I turn the page of destiny
While my music standing next to me
Watch me paint a picture with graffiti from the pen
With my poetry within
I am Black Flame
