Untouchable

Life is a balance of holding on and letting go
Where we weighed both quality of joy and sorrow
We live, we love, we cry, we understand
Sometimes too, we ask dumbfound.
Life is a gift, that is given
Uncomparable to other essential things
The mystery of joy and the hope of love
Were once a masterpiece provided by God
But beyond these -- where mirth stops
Is the endless myth of sadness, in contrast
Came upon to justify true happiness
Achieved not in our daily frolicsome needs
Nor at every junction's beauty we perceived
But in understanding of all the things that exist
Partly, how true love is attained
Not in need of every material thing...
And partly how love is lost
Because you really choose.

A New Year's Greeting

Curtain falls and curtain folds
Thus, it means all aching voids
(May they be carats of golds),
Be in mind buried unsold.

Happy new year everyone!
Hope that things are all well done.
Set aside your woebegone,
And start your new year a happy one.

Forgive and forget
And then celebrate;
And a sound mind, indeed
Is all you ever need!

Queries of Love

ShalI ding the past on the ears of air?"
I asked the crescent Moon just to be fair;
And as She beamed her please to me,
I knew that I must set it free.

"Shall I ding my secret on water's ears?"
I asked the stars in thought of ponder;
And as they wink their gleams to me,
My lonely heart agloo with glee.

"Shall I entomb Our memories to Lethe?"
I asked my mind on deep reminiscent:
My mind said 'yes';but heart said 'no',
It's a quarrel between the two.

"Shall I have my Amoret again?"
I asked the beggar like I'm insane;
"Live in fairytales", he laughed and said,
"Then you'll find the One that GOD had made."

Then I asked the Almighty God:
"Am I free to choose a love?
Can I know who's the One you've made for me,
That I could start loving her today?"

Then the God smiled and replied:
"You poor creature seek the love,
Yet you are young to pamper it;
I am the God, and so you wait."

An Aye For a Nay

Sometimes its an aye, aye, aye
Instead of saying nay, nay, nay;
Patience is a virtue
So hold it, can you?
If you can then go, go, go!
Life goes on the way we like it to.

They said, 'wait till you become
so be it;
And when it's you who'll reach the climb
give't a break:
For what's worst than being pricked with broken shards,
Is to teach the child to read "radar" or "kayak" backwards.

Life is not about the sex, the gap, the age
Neither about the work, the duration, the stage
Nor about the color, the culture, the race and language
For if we talk about each other's differences
We're not far from comparing a rooster to a hen
When the only fact is they're both chickens.

Life isn't about who's craddled last or first—
There's but only one solution to your hunger
So as to queench your thirst.
Now see, where did we differ?
In stands? In ideologies? Or once career?
No! It's just pride and prejudice, brother and sister.

Life goes on the way we want it to
If you can't, for the first time, don't push it through
Slowly, set it free; don't be jealous
And when you're already ready; don't get nervous
Give it another try
And that's the time you'll surely say— Aye!

Babe, I Love You

Shall I entitle you 'my Queen,'
Or treat you like a princess?
Do you remember where we've been
Through this very special days?

So, I have to admit.
Yesterday was with us.
You were a fair brunette,
And I'm that handsome lad.

We bumped on into each other
And you, dear, was almost mad.
You scared me of your monstrous stare,
But I threw you back my love.

Now my hair had turned to gray.
And your hair too;
And there's these words I'd like to say:
'Babe, I love you.'
