Freedom Rings

Freedom Holds The Key

( Dedicated To Americans
(All Who Still Believe)

Freedom is a precious gift
Given from above
Cherish it with all your heart
And always share your love
We are still Americans
Oh let our voice be heard
Let us stand up and speak the truth
That it is written in every word

Many have died to keep us free
They paid the price
for you and me
Many wars have been fought
To hold this golden key safe
And never to be caught
Let us study the history
When our nation was born
The Boston Tea Party
 that took place
Is a lesson that still warns

Violence is never the answer
Yes! we are smarter than that,
We don't need weapons
to fight these hats
At the booth we will
 cast these people out
Then they will know
 without a shadow of doubt
That We Are The People
 who will never move out

We love America
The way it was formed
Our Forefathers risked their life
To help Our Constitution be born

But now! Almost 300 years later
We have some who
want to take it away
They are changing the laws,
Behind closed doors
 to suit their own way!

Freedom comes with a cost
That will cause us to sacrifice all
To keep our country the
way it should be
And never let her fall
Our flag was designed
With three important colors
Red, White And Blue,
We wave it high for all to see
To let the world know,
That we still hold this key

Freedom came with a high price
Blood had to be shed, Red
White stands for the purity,
that we once held
But, when they removed the
 "Ten Commandments"
Our country began to fail!
Blue stood for the Honor of
 who we are today
We still can be, that shining star
They cannot take away!

Ten Commandments

The Ten Commandments

Why are these stones
So important they say
Do we really need them?
Let us remove them from display

It's more than just old engraved stones
That we place upon our walls
It was written by the finger of God
 It established our Constitution
It's the foundation of our Laws

We must always guard this Landmark
Never allow them to take them away
Write them upon the post of our house
Write them upon the gates and highway

Write them upon the table of our heart
We must teach them to our children
And diligently pray

Our land is filled with violence
 Crimes floods the streets
 Why Because we have forsaken
The laws that made us free.

America! Bring prayer back in our schools
Let's let God's Law be the Golden Rule
Yes, we need the Ten Commandments
Let us not be a Fool

We Honor You

We Honor You Today

To our US Veteran
Far and near
We thank you for your service
For all those years

Your sacrificed your time
Some gave your life
You preserved our freedom
And willingly paid the price

Many of you
You were sent over seas
You were wounded in battle
With scars and disease

But, Courageous and brave
You weathered the storm
You faced every battle
With faith and beyond

We honor you with joy
For all that you've done
You stood strong for our country
For our daughters and sons

So, no one stands alone
We walk hand in hand
Remember we are with you
Together we shall stand

We salute you today
With all our love you
Let our words speak eloquently
In this special way

On this Veterans Day
Let us express our love and thanks
For the sacrifice you paid
You served in Honor
For many years and days
We will never forget
That you was strong and brave

Leave a Legacy

What Legacy Should We Leave

We all are born for a purpose
to make a difference in this world
Shaped in every color and creed
we are created to teach learn and lead

It does matter what we say and do
Because if we know it or not
that every word has power to choose
Will your life be a light
That will shine through

Every storm that you go through?
Will your life be the one who
will allow God to use?

Your life is a open book
for all the world to see
who do you want to reflect
that can change and affect?

You may know it or not
But there are people who are
watching your life to see what you do
Their footsteps are following the path
you choose

When the time comes that
when you have to say good-bye
Will you truly be ready to leave
Or will you hide what’s deep inside
Did you know that there are treasures
That God put inside
Many hidden talents
and gift he gave
For us to never hide

Will you do
everything you can to
show your love that
 God gave to you?
Love, mercy and grace
is what this world needs

So, let’s try to reach
out to the hungry and poor
With a heart of love
and compassion and more
We are God's hands who
He uses to feed

When it is all said and done
What will they say?
About the life you that you lead
Did it bring glory to God
Or did it point to you instead?

I don't know about you
But, I want to leave a legacy
That's honest and true
Who will lead many to Jesus
Who makes all things new

What Can Happen

What Can Happen In A Day?

Life holds a mystery
That no man knows
The path that it leads too
Can change our road

Each step we take leads us to a place
Where decisions have to be made
What will you choose today, Left or Right?
Good or bad, What path will you take?

Too often men and women
Doesn’t think of what can happen in a day
Just as quick, as an blink of an eye
Our nation, our world could be
 turned upside down
Our foundation can be shaken,
That could crash to the ground
Oh, but there is HOPE,
 If you look up
Your cup may be empty,
But, God can fill you up

What can happen in a day?
That no one could imagine was possible
Against all odds, A nation was born
What can happen in a day?
When you put your faith in Him
He can heal that which is broken
And fix what has been torn

Don’t take one day for granted
That it will always be the same
Cherish each moment, and give thanks
You may be here today, but you could
be gone tomorrow,
In whom do you put your faith?

It can happen in a day
Before the next cock crows
That Jesus could return
To take His Bride away!
Only the Father knows!

 So, be prepared,
 watch and pray
Will you be ready?
 if it happens today!

Golden Rose

A Golden Rose

God made a golden rose
Our mother she would be
The perfect will of God
She’s a precious gift to me

Th is has shown to me
To be a wonderful design
By a gentle loving Master
Who’s loving and kind

Th e beauty of this Rose
Began with a tiny seed
God showered her with a blessing
And planted her with a need

She learned it wasn’t easy
When God tilled and sowed
But it has to be done
So this little Rose could grow

God planted her in His garden
And covered her with His love
Our mother she’ll always be
A Golden Rose
 who came from above

Life Is Like the Wind

Life Is Like The Wind

You never know
what each wind holds
or where they come from
and where they blow

Winds from the north
has it's course
bringing with it
every source

So, you look to the east
and you search the west
waiting patiently to
put your troubles to rest

Then to your surprise
the south wind arrives
it carries with it
life's changing tide
giving you a choice
to be foolish or wise

So, the next time
you hear the wind blow
watch and see
where it goes

Honoring Our Soldiers

SOLDIERS WE HONOR YOU

A soldier strong and true
We love and honor you
You sacrifice to save us all
To not let our country fall

We stand for what is right
We battle through the night
Our flag shall wave at dawn
We keep our Armor on

When you serve your country well
Listen close, you’ll hear that Liberty Bell
You set the captives free
So they will know and see

This country has a heart
of love joy and peace
Your labor is not in vain
We shall remember your name

You are in our prayers
Yes, we truly care
Do you know that there are angels
watching over you
Though you cannot see them,
they are real and true

No matter where they send you,
Do not be afraid
When the battle rages,
You’ll be strong and brave

Our U.S. military
will make you strong
With discipline and training,
you can’t go wrong

Obey your leaders
that are over you
They will lead and guide
you safely through

But, if you find your self in a hole
Where it is dark, lonely and cold
Just remember Victory is your goal
Be a soldier strong and bold

We are thankful, they chose you
You are a soldier, faithful and true
Many prayers we lift up for you
You are the eagle that carries us through

Silver Lily

HIS SILVER LILY

My life is a miracle
There was no hope for me
They said I'll never live
To see the age of three

Oh but God had a plan
They stood in awe and wondered
They could not understand

The mystery of the thunder
As child I faced much sickness
They almost gave up on me
They said I would never weigh
No more than a hundred pound indeed

But God had a plan
He held the key
He transformed my life
By his grace I'm free

He said I'm a lily
A trumpet for him
I'm covered in silver
His most precious gem

I share my life's story
For the glory of the Lord
If He can do this for me
Think of what he has in store
I completely give him my heart
I love Jesus Christ my King

He blessed me with many gifts
So now I sing With
God all things are possible
This I know is true
He has done so many
 miracles in my life
I know He can do it for you
