What a True Friend Is

What a true friend is

Someone to laugh with, perhaps to shed some tears
A person who's been with you all through the years.
Someone to shelter you from days that cold
A shoulder to lean on, a warm hand to hold.
Someone who will not talk bad about you, and never lie.
Who are always there for you if you need to cry.
Someone who will be there for you
Through thick and through thin.
When the rest of the world walks out on you, A friend will walk in.
An arm to catch you if you slip or fall
And an ear for your problems whenever you call.
Someone to share your giggles and your screams
A person to tell your secrets and dreams.
Someone to hug you when your happy or sad
To just be there in good times or bad.
A person with whom you don't have to pretend
These are the jobs of a true best friend.

This Is My Home

(This is a song my little sister wrote and she wanted me to post it. She wants to know what you all think!)

In this town we call home.
It brought us joy it has all along,
so let’s come together and be here forever.
Dance and play dance and play.
Because this town is our home we will never let it go.
It’s in our hearts.
It’s in our souls this town is our home this town is our home,
home,
home.

This town is our home.

Oh ohh ohh ohh.

Because this town is like us we turn around and make mistakes but, if this is what it takes to save our home.
