Ghost In the Dark

If I could only dream one dream That dream would be you.
If I could have one wish granted it would be for a kiss I never knew.
if I could only witness one last sunset I would have the Rays grace your cheek.
If I only had one word left to say your name I would speak.
If this life was not meant for soul mates complete then
every life after I would Repeat.
every step the same just for a moment with your playful banter.
Regrets are for the meek and faint of heart,
True love concours all even for ghosts in the dark.

Notions

Tonight I died Cold and lonely,
Caught between regret and peace.
Life hereafter for me will cease,
but not from existence;
Rather from cruel intentions,
inflected pain from a host of honorable mentions.
journeys of ascensions and descents into madness;
Surely they are my birth right.
For Fortnights I have contemplated,
Indecisive with the notion;
Poisoned by dreams and haunted by quotation.
The part of me that has passed shall no longer be mourned;
Goodbye dear self, hello dear scorned.

Pharaohs and Pyramids

My blood straight from the earth;
so I scream louder,
All my life I been a victim to white powder.
Never ingesting but sometimes I question;
am I running from the devil
or moving fast from the reverend,
When I sit back in a session,
I blow a L for the Essence;
I wonder if my stresses out weigh God blessings.
Tell me lord is it blasphemy to ask what is you have for me
or
Should I keep running like athletes until you capture me.
If it's your will let it be done
I see now its gone be a long run,
but let me tell you what these fools have done.
They transcribe your word got us lost and absurd,
put dope in my hood to serve;
Got bodies bodies slump on curb.
I'm guilty too I guess but for different reasons
ether way it go for my people it's killing season.

Gtos

Work hard,
Live well;
Wise words from a father to a son,
what happens to those words that a son doesn't hear;
guidance is revered as some sort of construct that is explicit,
Have you reared the youth that to you was nonexistent,
were their phrases in your intentions such as love,
Did you have the strength to persevere or did you run like a thief in the night;
Did you fight for your ancient right to bare witness to something greater than ones self;
Did you sacrifice health, wealth and sleepless nights;
Youth trite in wanting what's already Been sung;
Work hard,
Live well;
Wise words from a father to his son.
