Under the City Lights

I'm walking with a sad look on my face
Tears in my eyes under the city lights
Wondering how I'd have changed my ways
To love her truly, and faithfully all her life
Instead found myself holding someone else
Watched two beautiful girls walk out on me
Though, I should've went for some help

Now, I'm just a phony, with nothing on my hands
Trying to figure out what I could have done
To stay loving the woman who showed me heaven
The woman who proved she was the one
By loving and holding me tight, every night
She took the burden off my shoulders
And always had faith in me. in everything

Could have told the truth, but It'd hurt her
Could have told lie, and break her heart
They all seemed worse, nothing was left to do
But somehow chose the wrong thing to say
Set her free and gave her wings instead

That's why I'm walking with sad look on my face
Tears in my eyes under the city lights
Wondering how I'd have changed my ways
To love her truly, and faithfully all her life

Drove out together under the city lights
Holding hands all the way, into the night
Feels like we're holding other's heart
Lips pressed against her cherry lips
Now every feeling has gotten away
I've got nobody to hold tonight

Dad Could Remary

It's been two and half years now
Since we laid my mom to the ground
She was only twenty six at the time
She was the best mom I've ever had
And I loved the way she loved my dad
It was the saddest day of my life to loose her
For I had a big present for her birthday
And she never got to see what was in it

Dad's been taking good care of me
And just other day, a lady walked to him
And guess she thought she was hot
And he told her he's tied the knot
He's got a son and three jobs
An' don't think she got one
He winked at her and she winked at him
And something was going on, I thought

I never thought I'd like her that much
But when dad told me she's my new mom
I just looked down and said in their face
"I thought you said that mom was the one?"
He said that mom told him that he could remary
Cause he's got a long way to go before he dies
An' said that when mom met him

He'd been taking care of his son
And one day she walked up to him
And guess he looked pretty hot
He told never told her he's tied the knot
Cause he had three jobs and she had none
He kissed her and she kissed him back
But this time I was sure something was on

Right now, I know mom's watching
While she's resting up above in heaven
With a smile on her face that he's found a lady
Who loves him better and whom he'll marry
And spend the rest of their lives together

"worst Confessions"

Honey, there're some things I want you to know
Things you should have known long time ago
And this are my worst confessions
First, remember when your sister can in here
To tell you that that she was expecting a child
With her two years boyfriend but that baby's mine
Second thing i want you to know is that
When you're in the labor and I lied that I was at work
Girl I wasn't, I was with..............your baby sister

But cause everybody gets a second chance
I just want to get them out off my chest
Cause I'm tired of holding them back
And I don't want to hold them anymore
And if that's too hard for you to handle
You can forgive me and stay to start a new life
And pretend it never happen or you can walk out the door

But girl, before you make up your mind
I hope this will change what I've done and who i am
Girl, I love you with all my heart,...Will you marry me,. Again
And if the answer's Yes! I'll do all I can this time
To stay away from all those things I've done
And always be close to one I love the most
Cause you've done what no one would've done
Loving me and holding me in you hands when I'm cold

Girl, I don't want to let you down through this second chance
Cause I know there's nothing left in my chest
Than that love for you and nothing will hold us back
And if things will be hard for us to handle
You know our love's stronger than anything
That could ever walk through that door 

Yea, nothing's stronger than our love

"feels Like Forever"

I've spent all my life looking for you
I've gone to a million places
Just trying to find a familiar face
But the moment I saw you
I felt like I was in a beach
Looking into this beautiful view
And that's when I knew
This day is mine and we're meant to be

It's only been two years now
And thank God we're still together
But it feels like forever 
Cause I never thought I'd come this far
With anyone else besides you
That I don't even know who you are
But If feels like I've known you all my life

I've been with two other girls
And have left me heart broken
Cause they never liked anything I do
But between you and me anything's possible
When the bridge's broken we always find a way through
To the other side without and kind of doubt
And we never back down no matter how deep
We might fall cause we'll both go together

Well, I was thinking we go to that beach someday
And live up that beautiful day and wish it'd never ended
But since we got each other there's no worry
Cause I got you and you got me by heart
Now it's been three years and we're still together
Young and crazy in love that it feels like forever
And I can't believe we've come this far
With every dream of ours ahead and ready to come true

I've never imagined how love feels
But it sure feels good to be in it
Cause it feels like forever

Life Is Hard (The Hanging"

He always tried all he could
When his son asked him to go to the game
He spent everyday couching him to be a star
But he thought he wasn't doing quite good
To make his son's dream come true
And when he tried to quit drinking
Cause he wanted better for his family
That's when he took a pen and a paper 
And got in his car and drove to a peaceful site

And wrote: Honey, I love you so much
You're my dreams, my love and my life
And I've never felt love like this in anyone's touch
And when you have to read this tell son
I love him too and I hope you won't be mad
Cause I'll always be there at his b'ball game
And I'll always be above you when you need me
But now i think it's my time to go and I know 
I'll always be in your dreams and prayers, Love dad"
And he took the letter in a heart-shaped card

Then he sent the letter and drove to a nearby store 
And bought him a rope and went back to his basement floor
When he got on his knees and prayed to the Lord
" Thank you Lord for what You've given me
My wonderful life, my precious love and my dreams
I'm thankful for all I have but it's too much for me
And I hope I'll get a chance to watch over them
And I hope they'll forgive me for what've done"

Then he got on the table with the rope tied on his neck
He got ready and kicked the table away from his feet
And that's when he ended his wonderful life and a beautiful family
Who loved him to death and who thought they'd go to heaven first.
But now he chose to go first cause she was too good for him 
And he could never do anything to hurt her but this broke her heart
When he crossed the line that they could have walked together

Why I Haven'T Said Goodbye

You're the reason why we spend nights under the sky
Nothing but watching the dawn go down in your eyes
You're the reason why I'm still standing and deeply in love
For you make me whole and you give me hope
That no matter what goes on in this life, we'll get through
And babe I don't understand the reason why
It's been this long and I haven't said goodbye

You've made a believer out of me with your magic
Your love gets deeper and deeper more every day
We bond just like two super-glued feathers that never come apart
Cause I still feel the love when I'm a millions miles away
